Same here, please PM for the "Powerline-ace" price as well. And do u have any recommendation to protect LED TV for surge protection, which model should i used?
*

for standard AV protection, you can use SFTV9622FC as recommended to protect power, aerial antenna, satelite dish and analog telephone...

as Powerline ace model, here the RRP price and discount will be provided later...
TRM-NIF-3-BU : RM108 (Base Unit to Power-source w/o bottom or top connectors)
TRM-NIF-3+PE : RM128 (BU+Power +Earth connectors on top)

Pm for ME-FC . do you have surge protection for auto gate?
*

Cal-Lab have the protection for auto gate but the models may vary depend on connection type...

QUOTE(guitar89 @ Dec 9 2013, 07:18 PM)
I brought your Hi-fi version for clean suply ones, very good I have to say. No more sudden change in power will affect my audio. However, now I considering install a system in my house for computer (and possibly television system).

The question I wanted to ask is whether fiber optic is prone to lightning strike ? According to my own logic, fiber optic shouldn't need any protection, so my computer system only need normal type of cal-lab power extension, is that right ? *please correct me if i'm wrong*

As for my television, it uses satellite dish astro. But I suppose lightning wouldn't strike on mine ? (it is placed lower than my house roof)

What type of installation plan you would introduce to me ?
*

usually fiber optic cable wont carry any surge at all... technically u just require to protect the power source will do for the basic setup... as the TV with satelite dish, recommended to the MDSC0039FC at least as the price doesn't high compare to other models... smile.gif

yes, any copper cable (LAN cable) do able to attract surge...
for you case, you can use MDSC0039 + SP9201DSL for TV, astro and modem protection... and you can use MDSC0039 for ur PC power protection

Where can I see pictures of the item above?
The first thread post most image link down.

Is SD-8C better than SD-4C? What is the difference between these 2?
*

SD-4C same design as SF9512DSL
user posted image

MDSC0039FC is the top 1
user posted image

SD-8C consisted of 8pin for network point, mainly for ATM machine or special equipments.
SD-4C sonsisted of 4pin (1236) for network point, it is common for all the network devices.

The SD-4C in the pic doesn't seem it could plug in ethernet cable, more like the telephone cable. I think that SP9201ARD not required if I can protect from the main site (living hall) since the telephone line is split there.

Then I would only need SD-4C for my PC workstation.

Do you have a 4 in 1 item that includes the TV + CLLI + ADSL Splitter Protection? (I watched the youtube video, the developer shows there is such device)
*
SD-4C same "design" as mentioned with SF9512DSL, so not to mention the design of RJ45 conenctor here...

any local cable in ur house do able to carry surge which the surge doesn't come from external source (Telekom Malaysia), house built with steel bar, metal water pipe, copper cable, etc which can attract any surge... if lightning direct strike to ur house roof, sure the surge will jump into ur house metal, copper, steel directly instead... if without SP9201ARD, your phone will get damaged and may effected the PC which is just right beside only, the basic T&C of Cal-Lab is the equipments MUST located side by side with Cal-Lab for best protection... unless the telephone are located far away from PC then u can ignore the tel protection...

that is TRM series which is customized model and much pricy due to supported PLC (compatible with Aztech HomePlug), deposit in advance required due to custom models...

*

If Living Room only consisted with Power, Satelite Dish and Tel cable (for phone and modem)...
you can use the combination of MDSC0039FC + SP9201DAF

As fridge, you can use NILI9920F

As washing machine, you can use SC0039

Gan,
Quotation for:
1. MD-SC0039-FC
2. SL MS2+3
3. Can the NILI9920F take up the load of a Cloth Dryer?
*

SLMS2+3 / SL4 no longer available as some of the models replaced by newer models which supported Aztech Homeplug
recommended to go for MDSC0039 with multisocket instead

should no issues for NILI9920F to support cloth dryer as it can support up to 1600watt
