thinking of getting a used x100 but concern about SAB(sticky shutter blade) issue....without the original receipt dunno if fujifilm malaysia will layan or not, anyone dealt with SAB claims before?

what's the first 2 numbers of your serial? i've googled this issue a little, some say that serials start with 21 are free from the prob because fuji tweaked the lens production line to eradicate the issue, which generally about 2% of x100 have.

The Kaza straps can be a bit tangly but otherwise, I kinda like it. I am sure the Gariz one on it's special holster strap is more practical but I just like the look of the Kaza.

Personally i believe X100 is a great camera to keep, or work as a backup camera. Dont see much reason why ppl selling their X100, ya true, can get back some money, but in reality, you cant get back much anyway (unless you really need the money)

If 2.5k is for new X100, second hand maybe around 1.9-2k? No reason at all to sell lower than that. This could be a collector items many years later.

For those selling their X100, please dont let ppl lowball you :-)

I agree, I own 2 canon's full frame dslr. but owning a sexy one with sex lens really makes a different and the experience is more 'photographic' lol.

Street photography is my passion too and with dslr, i wouldnt be dare to shoot someone in their face for example like my shot for this one:

The sharpness, bokeh, 'grain' and the discreetness..
