Surely can, one of my friends used to drive it everyday for >1yr. As long as you can take the stiff ride though! smile.gif

CTR only use Ron 97 so less headache about power delivery. Can use daily. But the ride is really harsh. I follow many times at the back can see the car hopping on uneven ground. Thats a visual clue to a real CTR and a fake one.

Well the fake one also can be harsh if already change the suspension with stiff ones. smile.gif

Even if u cut the spring or change the spring, it will not hop around like ori CTR. Can confirm this easily. Rebound rate and damping rate all different.  laugh.gif

They can install the Type-R suspension right? Or change to after market sport/race springs & dampers or coil over which can even stiffer, and hence will hop even worse. smile.gif

Install Type R suspension? Hmm... i have seen a Japanese magazine about the CTR few years ago. They have picture to picture comparison of every changes the regular civic compared to CTR. The suspension system on the CTR...... lets say is very different and complex. So many wish bones, control arms, bushes .. and a bunch of things i can see, but do not know what it is. I do not know if can buy the replacement suspension for CTR and pnp in a regular civic. But the rest of the under carriage especially the steering and suspension stuff are very different. So probably no way u could get a CTR handling just by installing suspensions.

Maybe, but my point is if you want to get stiff suspension setup that will hop, it can be done, so just seeing a Civic hop over the bumps does not necessarily 100% will determine that it's a Type-R. I've seen many regular Civics also hop like that already. smile.gif
