Launching rockets seem to be an annual activity for students.

Government trying to encourage more rocket scientists or astronauts (rather can-or-naut )?

I've watched the Petaling district rocket launching competition. I've seen most of the teams using air pressure to launch the rocket. They pump a lot of air into a chamber and release the pressure under the rocket, and it goes up. At least that's how I think it works.
