does anyone have any link or success stories of a diy mod that uses mouse for aiming esp like in Halo?

i know from liksang are 3rd party modules to allow mouse/keyboard, but i nd to find an el cheapo solution...

its HARD for me to get use to aiming using an anolog pad in any FPS... ! T_T

Well I dont know much about any Keyboard/Mouse mods for Xbox FPSs but practice makes perfect Just keep playing and you'll eventually get used to it

I really don't see any real trouble in using the analog stick.

In fact the Xbox console has one of the best controller for FPS games.

i was soo used to using the mouse in CS, quake etc. that the moment i use the joypad... aiyoyo...

but yeah its true that practice makes perfect... ive got spare mouse laying around, so was wondering if there are any easy mod for the mouse-xbox...

Google it around and maybe you'll find some answers but seriously bro, practice and practice and eventually you will enjoy and start to become familiar with Console FPS. We all found it hard at first

there are 2 ways actually to play fps just like on the pc on the xbox...
1. get the smart joy frag. connect that to the controller port and connect your mouse and keyboard to the smart joy frag...
2. mod your controller port as xbox controller port and usb port as well..to do this, visit www.xbox-scene.com under tutorial section...

but for me, i rather use the controller itself, although a bit slow at first, if u often play fps with it, maybe you can pawn Mobi..hehehe....jk oni...

hmm... i googled sometime back, but came out with only the retail version, or the kbm hookup mod for use with xbmc/linux/etc. but did not specify use of the mouse for halo...

haha. my joystick left analog stick had worned out pretty bad (its a rubber type, right?) after playing too much of dynasty warrior.. .pretty addictive to me.. haha.. luckily my bro got me 2 more joypads..

you cannot use this method to play xbox FPS games, or any other xbox games as a matter of fact. the software itself must have support for usb mouse (the xbox controller port is actually a usb port). since there is no official support for this only homebrew software support usb mouse (eg xdsl, gentoox).

the joyfrag box is a different thing, it takes the p/s2 keyboard and mouse signal and emulate it into xbox controller signal.

What only pros? Go to video.google.com and look at the Halo montages there. Nubs also got montages la....
