I'm using a 4th gen ipod and nano with a universal dock. When i plug in the 4th gen iPod, the volume control lies solely on the speakers set itself, but when i plug in the nano, i'm still able to control the volume on the ipod itself? Can anyone tell me why is it so? or do i need to configure my nano or whatever?

it's like that.
you can control volume on the nano of 5G ipod when plugged into the dock. this feature is what audiophiles have been craving for.
it is not available on the 4G.

QUOTE(confuzan @ Apr 6 2006, 12:23 AM) it's like that. this feature is what audiophiles have been craving for. Sorry, will you please explain what do you mean by this?? Does it mean that with the volume control on the iPod the sound quality will be better? Thanks
