QUOTE(piecemealcranky @ Sep 17 2017, 08:59 PM) How are you unable to connect to server lah? Did you try the official EU website? Did you play on NA or EU? Make sure you actually downloaded TERA for the correct region. If you can login into the official sites, chances are you can log into the game. You don't have to port forward, although TERA does indeed use 10001. Check and see if you can login to their official sites. NA: http://tera.enmasse.com/EU: https://en.tera.gameforge.com/news/indexmy old account is tera NA i download tera NA too i can login into website but when try to push play button the error pop out

QUOTE(piecemealcranky @ Sep 17 2017, 09:55 PM) These are hostnames running on your PC mapped to you. I suggest resetting the hosts file. Remove all the lines that don't start with a #, and save as on your desktop. Rename the original host file to something like hosts.old or hosts.backup then put the one you just made into the same folder. This instruction is also on Window's support site: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/97...-to-the-defaultok i did all that following instruction from windows support site but still got that error tqvm

Cheers mate! Also, move to EU yo, shave off 100ms ping! ooo ok ill try btw can i move my old char from NA to EU? tqvm

QUOTE(piecemealcranky @ Sep 17 2017, 11:15 PM) Well, no because of different publishers. You'll not be able to make a character on EU from Malaysia. Tunnel through via a VPN (free one will do) and make an account anywhere from NA or EU. Then, you can disable VPN and log into the game as normal. im tryin lol using tunnel bear but cannot connect at all lol tqvm

QUOTE(piecemealcranky @ Aug 28 2017, 09:58 AM) IGN Sehr. I don't run battleping or WTFast anymore since the advent of proxy. It's just superior in every way. If we're going to discuss proxy however, do it off-servers as GMs may flag any word containing relatable terms. teach me proxy pls tqvm

QUOTE(piecemealcranky @ Sep 18 2017, 12:44 PM) I no longer play with VPNs or tunnel programs. I used to run Battleping and WTFast in the old days. With Proxy however, the game got a lot better. Like 90% better. Who am I kidding? It's 99% better. If you want to hop on this, Google Meishuu Tera Proxy and figure the rest out on your own, as proxy is now flagged as a grey area in Tera official servers. And don't mention anything regarding proxy, not in guild chats or whispers, as they may be auto-flagged for manual review by GMs. i did but didnt help much lol still high ping. around 280 to 400

QUOTE(piecemealcranky @ Sep 18 2017, 01:56 PM) Well, you didn't get it to work because you need modules. You didn't install it properly. This clever program simulates skills and actions client-side, so my ping is actually 12ms-24ms (even lower than those living close to Karlsruhe) with TP and SP (the module). i did lol the 3 first modules already installed and running pls share me urs pm me lol
