TERA NA (En Masse) have lifted the IP block from Malaysia.
now we can play there.

dont even have time to try it yet.
last time the client size already around 25gb dunno how big it is now.

actually i just try it myself.
ping for NA just around 200-300ms for me. starting area i even got 190ms. (im using streamyx 4mb from kota bharu)
i only use resource monitor to view my ping. TERA got ingame latency view command ka?
all servers still have high pop with chat channels full of ppl looking for group or members for raids.
i dont have any char so i just made a popuri mystic roaming around for now.
dunno want to play or not.

except B&S, we from MY can usually get 80-120ms connection to any other game servers at CN.
i used to play DragonNest and Emil Chronicle on CN server and that was my average latency i get.
for B&S, i think Tencent made deals with the boosters company to maximize their profit.
so i think TeraCN will give us better latency than TeraEU.

now im trying the NA version.
dunno if they only changed on NA or all other version too but the exp rate is higher than it used to.
lots of lower level quests have been axed but i still didnt feel underlevel for next story quest.
quest progression also more linear now.
free mount also better than the default gey horse they used to give us then.
but dont have friend to play together so might not stick around much i think.

yea if got a good number of ppl want to play on NA we can group together for raid or something.
i got the client but no mood to play alone.

i made one on Ascension Valley just to test the latency back then.

my char is only lv15 Mystic.

yes we play without VPN.
they already lifted the ban for some SEA countries awhile back. including Malaysia.
maybe someone that want a more stable connection will still use VPN.

yes we can play and register a new account without any need for vpn.
and it's Tera NA. i not sure about Tera EU.
ping to Tera NA is around 200-400ms. depend on situation. in the field it usually lower than in the city.
i dont use vpn but i think with vpn we might be able to get a constant 200-250ms latency.

the installer from torrent is around 27GB

same game the name just to make it clear about the patch version.

aaa why ppl keep playing in different server.
at 1st i made a char at Ascession Valley,
and then at Tempest because someone said they want to play there.
and now ppl said they're playing at Celestial Hill.
i made a an archer at Celestial Hill. might need help with BoL later.

i've also made an archer on Celestial Hills.
now stuck at lv16 quest .. Avatar of God or something like that.
the drop rate for the quest items are too low. been doing that from lv15 to lv18 still cant even find half of it.
should i just ignore it and continue leveling on other quests somewhere else?

haha yep they changed lots of stuff.
i also play this game in cbt last time and just started playing again now.
that beach thing iirc was some kind of tutorial thingy right? they gave you a full level character for you to test after that when entering the game become noobie lv1.
i also remember that we stay at the island muchmuchmuch longer before we get enough level to go to Velika.
now they removed lots of quest and made the leveling really fast.
played a bit more last night.
got to lv21 and upgraded the Avatar weapon to +9.
damn that thing really OP. might be able to use till lv30+ i think.
