What happened was Exodus hosted a game and named it OMGeek. So I sorted by name and selected the OMGeek server. The ping was an exclamation mark but it was quite smooth while in game.
I suspect all the home hosted games will have no ping shown because their routers/firewall have been set to discard ping packets from WAN. So only those who allow ping from WAN will be able to show a number. But this doesn't really affect gameplay.
Anybody want to modify their routers to test this theory?
oh i see. Dr Laboo connected to my host yesterday n he get like 14ping avg. tho its juz me n him im using unifi vip 5mb.
How did oyu find the wasteland server? I was looking for it a couple of days ago but couldn't find it on the server list.
make sure you did not filter anything. there's a lot of wasteland server.
one thing about server list. they sucks. they should be like BF 3 server matchmaking where we can select the region/country server. randomly join into a server = 200/300++ ping, Western server. not many local server n in fact i only joined once which is given by Dr Laboo.
can we run a dedicated ARMA 3 server in behind? like erm, cmd server? mcm RO private server?

I got new processor and motherboard over the weekend. So now ready for Arma3. BWAHAHAH
I only wish b4 the game release, their engine CPU/GPU optimization is being fix. its annoying on how my 7870xt can't be fully utilize = low fps = game dissatisfaction drop
i mean, the game is great, but not their engine utilization.

Before this I ran a dedicated server for DayZ then MSO (both requiring MySQL). It's basically a second machine. Nothing but a box/server. I turn it on/leave it on like forever.

Just join by filtering host as t3quila in your mp server browser. (PC USERS PLS DUN MAKE ME FACEPALM) I'll add more coop missions as time goes on. If you have any mission requests just post it here in the thread.
not really GPU problem, it's because the engine not utilized to run multiple core that's y ur CPU bottlenecks ur GPU capability. Need to tweak some .ini files to make the game utilize the GPU more than CPU. I've been lurking around in their forums and majority of ppl having below 20 FPS are all AMD users
If u check ur GPU stats, u will notice the game usually only utilize half of ur GPU's prowess lol
anyways, those that haven't purchase the game.. better do it fast, BETA is just around the corner
