I won't say impossible, but most unlikely.
Possibility is higher if you jailbreak and install apps from non official app store.

right. its very unlikely. the thing is if youre not really 'stupid' you will get hardly infected even with for instance pc. just by using your brain (not clicking on every dangerous link) you can avoid infecting...

Im using iphone and ipad so far never got virus but im still wondering what the function of antivirus in the app store
