Upgraded since this early morning, I think.

Somewhere near Kepayan Ridge, Kota Kinabalu.

Running on a ACER Predator 17 gaming laptop with Killer Wireless-AC 1535 , Gigabit Ethernet.

Got it today after visitng the nearest TMPoint and made a report about missing cover case of the whats-the-name-of-the-box-hanging-on-the-telephone-pole 3 days ago, and vented out my frustration of waiting upgrade while still paying the same monthly bill, in a gentleman way (we Borneons always do things nice and slow) and the customer service lady put me on the waiting list straight away.

Now,

things I haven't done:
1) Restart the BTU and router.
2) get a CAT-6 cable to connect the router, TP-Link Archer C1200 to the BTU.

Download speed on 5Ghz wireless fluctuates between 100Mbps to 300Mpbs, in average.

Update on the test result with Wired connection and Wireless connection.

With cable connection it can achieve maximum speed, while 1/2 of the promised speed on Wireless, in this case, 5Ghz connection.

Gonna try it with a CAT-6 cable.

I'm interested and waiting for your results
Great info there, i will be getting 300 too next year

Well I went to the nearest Tmpoint to make a report on missing cover of one of the box-thingie-on-pole because if it's rainy day the rain will drip straight into the box and affects the whole circuit and stability of the internet.

and told them I have no problem continue paying the current monthly subscription which is MYR 18x after SST, provided I get the Turbo-upgrade. Else I would switch to the cheap 100Mbps package.
Of course, you have to be gentle and patient to tell them.

So the customer service lady put me on waiting list after listening to my reports and few days later got the upgrade.

wait what?

you can actually talk to them to put u earlier on upgrade turbo?
What I did was to tell the customer service lady me being a loyal customer who is feeling unfair while still paying MYR 18x per month for Unifi and still hasn't got the upgrade like others, and might consider to switch to the 100Mbps package, which mean they lost the extra revenue. Thus, she said will help me to inform the marketing department in KL my situation, which is basically put me in the waiting list.
All this because of years of experience working in sales and marketing field.

then, did u receive notification or sms for the upgrade?
*

Nothing. Only noticed the speed had been upgraded while downloading Forza Horizon 4 demo, then login to Unifi web site to check the account status and voila.

Nice. The 1st page of this thread: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4658474
contains the information on how to get full and stable high speed connection on the new turbo-upgrade.

For now, I am connecting the internet via 2 methods.

- Cat 6 cable for heavy download, high definition streaming, and file transfer.
- Wifi for casual surfing.

It seems there is a internet speed fluctuating, in average, between 220 - 300Mbps in Kepayan area, Kota Kinabalu since yesterday.

If you're using Unifi 300Mbps, your speeds are correct according to the table here: https://www.lowyat.net/2018/168749/make-the...-turbo-upgrade/
