Curious if any Sabahan has signed up for Unifi Lite 10Mbps? What's the price when you signed up? What models of equipments are you having? Installed with Fiber + Copper cables?

Saw local TM point offering it for RM149.

My area got the white box installed today together with the number on it, about a week after installing the cables, now waiting for service to be activated. Seems like the contractors pulling the fibre are delaying the job, because other blocks in my apartment can't get the white box installed due to no cables pulled yet.

They already fix the box in my housing area at Bundusan ... does that mean unifi coming soon or they need to setup on the whole area and test first before the service provided ?
*
I think have to wait for another few weeks. Boxes are also fixed at my area, taman rainfield penampang.

I found a rather interesting map showing off present and probably future planing of UniFi coverage in Sabah, not all areas are drawn on the map but those interested can still take a look.

Sorry for the long hiatus. Existing users Sarawak and Sabah of 30Mbps and 50Mbps (and possibly others) are eligible for a RM10 upgrade to the next tier. Example if you're using 30Mbps, you only need to pay RM10 more every month to get 50Mbps and so on
really interesting map indeed. Do you have more info if this is from official sources? Is there one for Sarawak? Thanks for the link
Huge influx of new applications from the new promo and existing upgrade promo. So there will be a big delay in installation now. My own upgrade took 3 weeks  bangwall.gif

Not sure about Sarawak, haven't found one so far. I found this map when searching through Google randomly, probably not 100% official, maybe from some contractors since some areas are marked wrongly including mine. BTW, about the RM10 promo, when I asked the TM CS last time, she told me only those who applied before 31 Oct 2017 are eligible, and sadly those on Bonanza like me aren't in the list.

So disappointed with TM.. white box up since 15th Dec. Til now still not yet launched in my taman. Will I missed the promo 139 for 30mbps? I'm streamyx user and already signed up for upgrade when they have a booth here in Sept.
*
If white box only up mid of this month (with number labelled) then it will only launch by early next month. Just be positive they will continue or launch new promo for CNY

how about...

white box up for 2 months already and just got number labelled few days ago
so... how long does it take for service to be available ? lol
*
Forgot to mention clearly in my last post, it should launch the following month after the number was labelled, at least that's the case in housings my area, PPG C048. Same case for PPG C037 too. Skipped this part because in my area the white box was up and labelled at the same time. tongue.gif

In KK it’s around 6 month to a year before you can get unifi
*
Recently seems like they're doing the job faster, at least that's the case for Penampang area, usually take 3 months from initial construction beginning to job done.

It seems there is a internet speed fluctuating, in average, between 220 - 300Mbps in Kepayan area, Kota Kinabalu since yesterday.

Hello anyone having extreme packet losses every 30seconds around west coast Sabah?

Its noticeable after the November fibre cable cutting incident. I already kick Telekom every 2-3 days and going to unifi live chat. Calls from their technician saying rectifying but never give an estimation. Its been nearly a month now still calling them every 2 days for info but nothing. Common websites like Youtube Facebook also affected.
*
Nope, not experiencing anything so far. I'm from Penampang.

"At the moment, the latest ETTR for this case is on 11/12/2019"
from unifi live chat agent

I do hope it's not really going to take them 2 days to restore everything to normal this time

Sabah and Sarawak can try pinging these test servers, they're available for your region:
*
For the Sabah ones, they still route to West Malaysia so the ping is quite high, but that's expected
