You might want to find out if SACOFA is going to provide additional ports in your area.
This port insufficient issue has always been TM's dirty trick to prevent other ISPs from using their wholesale agreement which competes directly with their retail Unifi brand.
They will put you down or place it on low priority to upgrade their number of ports if they find out that your area is highly popular with their other competing ISPs and not theirs.
No point building a network for other ISPs to enjoy riding on them right? Who would?
Would you pave a road to a shared house with you as one of the tenants when you're not the heaviest user of it?
Pay from your own for others to enjoy?
Thank you for a direct response bro, appreciate it.
Am I right to assume that SACOFA provides the ports instead of TM?
Or they can also provide ports, just like TM?
Sorry if I am getting all these mixed up!

Firstly welcome to Kuching.
A practical solution since port is full, you can check with Unifi, Digi Fibre, or Celcom Fibre. Have to let go of the TV offer then and just subscribe to whichever that has port and suits your need. Politicking between ISP is going to take forever .
Thank you for a warm welcome, it is nice to be back in Kuching after a lengthy period away!
I have indeed given up on the TV offer and is now just desperate for any Fibre I can get hold of.
Will take on your advice and grab the first one I can!

which area in kuching anyway? tried check with local bt lintang TM?
Jalan Astana in Petraja. Just recently returned and had to immerse myself into work straigthaway so have not managed to get myself to Batu Lintang TM. I have however approached a number of agents to identify available ports near my house, but they are not willing to help unless I sign up.
Kids and wife pestering me to get this sorted though so I might take a couple of days off next week to go to Batu Lintang TM and scour Kuching for DIGI and Celcom Service Centre.
Thank you for the input.
