Heard that KFH is offering 3.8% again for 6, 9, 12 months. If you are okay with that bank, then it's one of the highest that you can go for. Min placement 20k.
Maybank has this eFD promo until mid July, but it's at a super low 3.1 or 3.2%, can't remember. Min placement 100k, siao.

what is the fees for uplifting premature FD with Bank Rakyat...?

i have placed an FD of 10,000 at BR for 4.6%. at the end of the 5th year (61 months) the payout is 12,342.85 (written on my FD cert)
but the amount i ownself calculated was 12,521.56 based on 4.6% with yearly compounding interest.
i cannot get the 12,342.85 that the bank calculated. help....

i'm looking for highest fd rate. is affin bank or bank rakyat any good? can i apply? im a non muslim

As my last placement with BR was before CNY, so the invitation is after my last placement with BR of the 4.2% interest.

Also I got 2 hampers with them as I told the ABM that I have 2 accounts with them (one joint account) both exceed their minimum requirement to get the hamper. Ha ha. Except not too happy with the hamper content, seems not too high value. Well, it is free .................

Need to clear check before BR issue cert. This typically takes 3 working days.
Got a free BR key chain for opening saving account with them but need to pay RM8 for the ATM card.

I have found the GIRO transfer to be very useful for the monthly interest from BR. Especially with the 10cent fee. Instead of traveling to the branch or even use ATM card to withdraw the fund.

So you just need to pay one time fee for an ATM card from Bank Rakyat, a very good deal.
I think I should get one also.

If you cancel the ATM card, automatically Internet Account can use meh....! Not sure also but you cancel and test and let us know...

Too many password and too many login ID.. wat the heck , not bothered changing it. Some sites wont allow you to maintained the same password for too long, so wat to do, changed then changed it back to original. Poor people like me not much to worry about hacking...   touch wood...

It should be OK as the ATM card main purpose is to withdraw money, use ATM terminal, internet acct initial set-up etc etc. Will ask them next week if I decide to move UOB fund to BR.
