Dota tourneys are inevitable. Tourney goes to where the most sheeps are.

The MMU Cyberjaya tourney will start from 20th till 28th (plus Sat & Sun) from 8.00pm till 11.30pm. Although it's only open for MMU students, you are welcome to come and spectated.

Day 1, 2, 3 & 4: DoTA
Day 5 : NFSMW
Day 6 : NFSMW, FIFA06
Day 7 : FIFA06, O2 Jam
Day 8 : O2Jam, NFSMW and FIFA06 Finals
Day 9 : DoTA Finals

Venue : Gaming Lab or Microsoft .net Lab (depends on which day), Faculty of Information Technology, MMU Cyberjaya.

I still think ESWC Malaysia are much much worse...
It's only April...usually, everything will start to move around May.

In that case, NFSMW will be held next Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. It's at night, you mind staying late at this area? Oh, if you have a desktop PC inside you car, you might need to leave it somewhere before you come into the campus. You will have some trouble with security if you don't.

I think u can drive ur car inside , ignore the guard just go inside only... and if he ever stops u just say that u are attending at event in the FIT lab thats all

MMU Cyberjaya LANGC'06 - NFSMW have been changed to another venue outside of the campus due to a huge technical difficulties that we encountered on Monday. It's almost 70% certain that we going to have it at Clutch Gamers, SS 2. Progress will made available at http://lgcnfs.chapreedagrande.net.

For the rest of the week, this are the updated calender.
Wednesday : FIFA 06, DOTA, O2Jam
Friday : O2Jam

All, that the players/teams have to pay is the login fees at CG, for the FREE prelims. = )

Official: Clarification on eligiblity of participants for DOTA All Stars Competition in WCG Singapore 06

DOTA All Stars is open to ALL players INCLUDING foreigners. As DOTA is not an official game of WCG 2006 and the winners of DOTA will not be representing Singapore in Monza, the organizers have decided to open the play to all player regardless of nationality.

Also note that the DOTA competition will played over 4 days (10th to 13th August) while the rest of the official games will be played over 2 days (10th to 11th August). Gamers are advised to make the necessary arrangements.

Wth this year got so early meh?

I think it's the same la. Because like previous year, there's some WCG tournament (Intercollege and DoTA at PC Fair in 2005, Cybercafe Challenge in 2004) that was held between Jun and July.

Given the new format like in my previous post, I think the prelims are refered as the Cybercafe and Intercollege prelims which like previous year, not all games will have it. As the National Finals on Aug 25-27, still the same which were always held on the final weekend of August.

Just that for now, we can expect when the fehver will come.

Does any of u applying for marshall or crew for wcg? did u get any reply from them?

GXL has a TeamSpeak server for team games that is kindly hosted by Plantronics. TeamSpeak is a quality, scalable application which enables people to speak with one another over the Internet. In other words, it allows team mates to communicate and chat with each other as if they were in a LAN centre environment. One of the differences that TeamSpeak has with in-game voice chats is that TeamSpeak has the option to be able to communicate without needing to press a button unlike most in-game voice chats.

For users familiar with TeamSpeak, the address for the GXL TeamSpeak server that is hosted by Plantronics is:

For users not familiar, here is a step by step guide to get you started with TeamSpeak.

1. Download the TeamSpeak Client from our Downloads page.
2. Install the TeamSpeak Client.
3. Launch the TeamSpeak Client program.
4. In TeamSpeak, click Connection => Quick Connect.
5. In Server Address, type in:

teamspeak.gamecomvoip.com

6. Type in your Nickname.
7. Click Connect.

Well, at KLCC makan place a bit far. If your friend located at Suria's McDonald and then his match are up, he need to lari2 back to the venue. I suggest in2 call the mobile KFC or McD to open there so gamers dun need to run2.

But I still like KLCC because since WCG always start on Friday, easier for the Muslims to go for Friday prayers. The mosque are just nearby
