Is it hard to get a job in Oil and Gas company in Singapore for a Graduate? Non O&G companies can be considered as well. I'm Mech Eng fresh graduate and hoping to try finding job in singapore. Quite a number of my friends told me by giving self 1-2 months of constant job hunting, definitely will land in a position. Is that true?

I'm just afraid when i go there for job hunt, will waste my time and efforts, going back empty handed to my hometown in E'Msia. >.<

Any tips/suggestions? notworthy.gif

Are you here to get opinions/feedback, or are you here to convince people that your friends are right?

Just saying my opinion and understand more on going to work in SG. Don't go bashing people for posting opinion. no offence.

Can apply from Malaysia.

last time i applied when i was in UTM. Went for interview, but that time MOM dowan to gimme work pass. Got job offer but no pass, cannot work. In the end work in Malaysia.

easier to get job/approval if u have experience.

Any tips guys for me to land a job in sg. sad.gif Been sending off email applications as well as Jobstreet ones for 1-2 months already. But none have replied. I'm applying from Sarawak, but no replies from them.

Is it because i'm applying from sarawak? Or I should opt to start find in SG?
