hi, i have been working in SG for 3 years, and now planning to buy a weekend home in JB... I am already a PR thus i cant drive in to SG anymore.... not affordable to get a SG car as well.... you guys have any idea where is the safest and cheapest place nearby CIQ to park the car?

BTW, any new property launches in iskandar which you guys think is good for weekend home as well? thanks a lot...

There is no such thing as parking near to the CIQ. Not unless you plan to walk a long way to the customs every morning for work. You could conceivably park your car at Gelang Patah and take the smiling bus in and out everyday. After awhile you will get quite fit from all the running I see the passengers do in order to chase for a spot.

It might not be a new launch, but Leisure Farm is one of the better places to stay in. You can go for Nusa Heights also if on a budget, although I heard 2 bedroom is now going for just below RM300k, which is a crazy price given what I paid for their 3 bedroom.

There are Nusa Sentral, Nusa Bayu, Nusa Duta, Horizon Hills, etc etc all concentrated at Second Link. Just take a drive and see which ones you like. If you want affordable and don't mind staying below power lines, Nusantara Prima offers semi detached houses at great prices, Setia Eco Garden is also nearby for those with aspirations of owning SP Setia property.

it really looks like most of them focusing on second link... i am working in yishun, going thru the first link is better option for me.... today i passed by the paragon suites site, damn... its damn near, just opposite the CIQ...... cant see any potential properties nearby first link besides this...

while for second link, i aim for bkt indah as i only familiar with this area... i will keep an eye on those nusa now...

thanks
