Hello, Sg government just released their Budget 2013? May I know MOM still issue WP/ EP/ S-Pass to West Malaysian who's fresh entry to work in SG from all industries? Hear say they are very straight to issue permit to foreigners and follow 9:1 hiring scheme? Does this scheme really exist?

How many quota of foreigner equal to how many S'poreans/ SPR in organization? It means that foreigners will have less chance to work in SG companies due to the quota?

I stay at Tampines.  Surprisingly, unlike what i read before i came here, people are very friendly here and so many Malaysian...

guys, what will u do if ur employers kept delaying ur salary? the paydate already stated clearly in the contract and every month they used the same excuse-system error. not to say that it is a huge mnc with thousand of staffs. For two consecutive  months me and another probation staff got delayed our salary. the contract we signed is just like a stack of useless paper. can i call mom? p/s i did not mean my mother.

Hey peeps I just want to clarify something. My employer must apply for an employment pass for me and prior to my arrival to Singapore, the employer must provide me the IPA letter?

Is it possible that I arrive in SG with the white card, go to my workplace and on the spot my employer gets the application done?

A little confused from the e-mail they sent me.

Well the thing is I told them I will only be available to start work from 15 Apr onwards. So technically speaking between me and my company we agreed that my first day will be 15 Apr but since I can't start working without a pass so is the company going to count that as my first working day or will that day be "a day where I run around getting my pass approved"? Anybody faced this issue before?

So in conclusion, in order to start work on 15 Apr, the HR would need to provide me with my IPA letter before my arrival to Singapore? Correct?

The reply from HR came like this :
In that case I will need to follow up to make sure I get my IPA right? The way the e-mail was replied sounds kinda

If by 12th you dun get ur IPA, u better ask them

u can also inform them, u will only start work on 15th, subject to receiving ur IPA prior to it.
