Malay is one of the official language in Singapore... are you sure they need translation?
*
Last I checked, 9/10 chinese singapore citizens do not speak or understand Malay. So...anyway most companies will ask for official ENGLISH translations.

I usually change in JB, If you frequent there, the rate they offer is comparable to those in Midvalley. Sometimes even higher. SG always gives lower compare to them.
*
If you change in JB, more often than not you will get a lower rate due to supply and demand, unless you happen to be the King or frequently change with the same person. If you go back hometown often, just change in your hometown (assuming its not JB) and you will get better rates...maybe 0.02-0.03 better. Whether that is worth it or not is up to you as it may not amount to much difference.

That is my experience anyway.

i usually change around the same time of the month la. always look for that aunty. The aunty even will advice me to change later when she feel the rate is low for that day and ask me to change the day after.

Came back to Singapore on 2009, also holding WP. Within 2009 till Nov 2012, total change 4 job and all holding WP.
I am wondering about my chances for getting PR because of my poor record on the job hop part and also my qualifications.

My fiancee on EP, applied in mid-January until now still pending, degree from Aussie uni. In any case I don't see what's stopping you from applying since it's a nominal loss if you get rejected.

Any tips guys for me to land a job in sg. sad.gif Been sending off email applications as well as Jobstreet ones for 1-2 months already. But none have replied. I'm applying from Sarawak, but no replies from them.

Is it because i'm applying from sarawak? Or I should opt to start find in SG?

Preferably master bedroom....
Common room also fine as long as there are not too many people sharing the toilet.
Budget depends on the room condition $700-1000

Wesak day is the first day of school holidays in Malaysia. Singapore's school holidays start a week later. Flights and traffic will be quite heavy.

worst day and time to travel out of Sg. On top of that it's an election weekend and tons of Malaysians rushing back to vote. Probably Malaysian immigration will come up wif funny tricks to delay those from Sg from going in. Having said that, good luck !!!

Just in case, small update for everyone who want to apply DP. I just got back my marriage Cert in English and the cost is RM10. So anyone next time , can just go to Govt department and ask them to print out in English. If all details are updated, you can get within 10 min.
