Talk cock from all the staff, how to use library facilities, IT facilites, sports facilities but these take less than 3 days to learn everything. Just go and the day they register you and make your ID and the day they release the timetable.

Nottingham Business School is one of the best in UK. Whilst Engineering in UK is not so high-ranked as in UK.

But, in Malaysia the locals tend to assume that Engineering is the best. Whatever.
As long as it's UK recognision I don't mind lol.
*
The mechanical engineering in UK is recognized, did you know they were the ones who designed the roof of the Aston that went sliding upside down in the James Bond movie? Bet you didn't know that.

yea, i was wondering, if i dun 1 to stay in campus, dun 1 to stay in the place they supply (pioner trading or wat? i forget dy tongue.gif ). I would like to rent outside personally share with frenz, where is the nearest? take how to long to reach unim guardhouse adn how is the rental?
*
Nearest is TTS or taman tasik semenyih same garden place as pioneer's, houses are sometimes quite run down and you need to do some searching but the rent is cheap, i think it was 600-800 only for one whole house.

Another place is Sunway Semenyih but that is far from the uni, just after the JPJ along the main road, but houses here are newer and more comfortable, cost also 600-800 whole house but you need a car or motor if you stay here.

the 1st 1 u mention is under pioneer or not under them? So if stay there roughly take how long to go to unim?
*
No they are houses privately owned, pioneer only pau two rows of houses only, they don't own the whole place. To unim i think takes 5 mins if you drive to walk maybe 30 mins? in the sun or rain isn't fun at all. There are buses that will ferry you from the taman to the uni at certain times, it was still free when i left. Check it out.

how is the living expenses in semenyih?
*
Living slightly cheaper than KL but nothing really suprising, Semenyih is really not that ulu lah.

guys..what's the difference between Beng and Meng in notts?

i only know tht one is 3 years while one need 4 years to complete...
*
Beng is degree and Meng is masters, difference the duration like you said, for E&E
in 3rd year you do a group project and in the 4th an individual one. BEngs only do one individual project in the last year. other than that the first 3 years you do the exact same subjects as Beng guys.

ic..thz,

but then, is the 3 years Beng recognised in malaysia?

some of my friends said we NEED to do 4 years..as like other uni in Mas..
they kinda said all degree must al least take around 4 years to complete.

im planning to take e&e beng for 3 years..then continue in MBA..is it possible? icon_question.gif
*
It might be, just pop by central admin and have a chat with them, they definately can help you.

Yes 3 years for our course is recognized by BEM/IEM or whatever, but honestly if you are a E&E guy it don't matter to register with them or not, i didn't and i found good prospects and no one mentioned anything about it.

are you sure I can do final year in UK ? 100% sure ?
if 9k pound then it would be around 63k  +  living expenses ... the total would be around 100K ++

hmm i can afford it .. if that is allowed..
*
Yes you can, BUT you have to transfer in your second year and not in your final year, some of my coursemates did it

Emm, hows the chance of getting transfered to Nottingham(UK) in 2nd year? Gonna be the top students in that year? o.O They normally send how many students there?
*
Easy bro because you pay so much more in fees eg. engineering for the brits it costs something like 3-4K for us foreign it will cost 13K for the same course,so trust me it's really easy to get a transfer.
