A2 engineering foundation newbie here reporting haha

i heard somehow some nottingham engineering degrees are not LAN accreditated...

sweats though

not exactly like ghost town la...aduh lol
sem 1 foundation the whole uni only left foundation students...seniors on breaks...so quite few ppl

but this coming sem on oct got new intake n so on...expecting alot of students..
in fact they constructing a new central teaching block to accomodate the overflowing students...

accomodation wise, u can find alot reasonable priced rentals by private landlord at tts outside nottingham...pioneer is pure suck blood for sure lol...

shoosh. TTS2 resident here dun use the word sux la..too far-fetched oledi
i dun like TTS5's surroundings...TTS2 got food lol...ehhe
staying outside is better still, though u need some time to access sports in uni ehhe

jus received email from security head 2day regarding activation of ID cards btwn 19-22 sept for door access system...aiks i booked my flight back kl on 30th...im gonna missed both this n the registration lol

1 court nia...seriously sports facilities in nottingham is not enuf to accomodate incoming waves of students this semester...the cafeteria is damn crowded...too many new students coming in...
currently a new residential hall n new basketball courts is under construction...thrs a damn large piece of land next to sports complex which they are starting to build courts n halls now...but im not very sure whether got build tennis court onot...central teaching block oso proposed to construct but still need to wait..

In short, Nottingham is currently still in developing mode in order to accomodate more incoming students...

i walk to sch back n forth to do my assignments sometimes as i dun hav internet at my house yet...most of the time middle of nite...20 mins walk from tts2 lol...well jus remember dun bring ur wallet with u when u gonna do this...hp is important oh well...

jus watch ur back...its nothing...hehe

u mean i can do a postgraduate in engineering field after my B.Eng and i will still be recognised? hmm whr did u heard from? i doubt so...i thought postgraduate courses also limit to 4 yrs Bachelors degree course completion only

friendly in the sense of? im starting my 1st yr this sept...wad i get from working in groups with them is : They suck, they are like shit.
in fact, im not being racist actually by nature but im FORCED to LOL...they are really dumb especially for those nigerians under scholarships...most of them cant even operate a PC well enuf...n they act like they are the bosses over the campus, evrytime when lecturer make us into groups...they talk, they bullshit and no action is done except from their mouth...i HATE them, to be serious...hope their results fail n get their arses back to their won land....darn

its not me being bad...they are being acting shitty....good for u taking business foundation as almost 80% of the niggas end up in my engineering foundation dude! our population ratio become 1:1 to be serious...which means every 10 students in my foundation there are 5 of them who are niggas.... damn...evrything is so cool bout this school except for the niggas...thrs really too many of them IMO...i wonder why the sch wanna accept so many nigga students swarming in sekaligus...damn...typical m'sia - MONEY

u can ask my other engineering batch...most of us have problems working out with those niggas, especially in IT projects, they know nothing bout PC operating omg n lotsa annoying issues bout them la...even the taxi drivers at kajang n semenyih reported having annoying encounters with their shitty attitude....

so u said they are not majority, a 50:50 ratio is that considered minority? lol...


fiqir u dun need to be scared by them...in case if they do any physical contact with you just confront them boldly, if worse, u can find other ppl around campus to back u up lol...no worries...

but actually the real problems with MOST of the africans are those having scholarship sponsored by government from nigeria...as i found out tat a number of them are very bad in written english at times, even though they spoke good english, for other subjects especially IT they suck the most LOL...tat makes me wonder why they got scholarship so easily?!

but as for other self-funded africans from kenya etc...generally i think they r ok...courteous and outspoken, diligent too...mayb they are considered richer, u can sense some of those self-funded ones have higher standards of luxuries therefore they, too, think differently than those under scholarship...

so its a matter between their background...for those africans from lower background status especially holding scholarship, they have lower sense of maturity...very immature in thinking i would say...not to say i despise them but this is wad i observed n experienced from thema number of them are posers though...

a sore to eyesight is more than enuf damage to my eyes n subsequently to my mind as well

anyway guys, enuf of the nigger issues...i was wondering, is it possible to do a MSc and be recognised as chartered engineer in Msia after completing my BEng in UNMC? i was planning to get 1 yr of postgraduate MSc in UK

is it so? but for UK accreditation an MSc is enuf to be chartered engineer for BEng holders...
MSc is 1 yr full time, part time is 2-4 yrs then cuz its a taught course not research based

anyway guys, is it ok to graduate as an BEng honours degree in engineering 1st before proceeding to MEng? meaning tat I can choose to proceed by 4th yr after my graduation on 3rd yr or i MUST take 4 yr fully?

i've enquired UNiM staff...its not possible to transfer after yr 3..the only way is to transfer ON yr3, which is after ur yr 2...

MSc is a taught master course...its on-par with MEng actually
the reason tat UK degrees offer BEng options is becuz they provide students with elective choices of continuing for MSc instead of MEng for wider choice of programmes
