hello i just finished my 1st year there.
1. currently fees are RM31k per year for engineering, fees include exams, library etc etc u need not pay a single cent other than printing in library.

2. cost of living, u can get a room for approx rm300. food standard price 1day 3meals RM20 shld be enough, transport - free from KTM station to uni ,just need to pay for KTM lar.

3. got scholarship, 25% discount if ur results are good, given when u apply for a course. it carries on for 3years if you are doing a degree, means Year 2 and 3 also 25% discount provided u maintain all pass la..

that you would have to ask them, as far as i know, for mechanical, and also mechatronics eng from Tar coll, you'll have to take some extra Year 1 module, it is compulsory. i have one Tar fren that came to notts after his diploma. and youll need a certain marks to be eligible for Year 2 straight, else Year 1 first..

orientation for last year was a joke. haha dont wanna discourage you but all they do is introduce themselves, and tell you what can u expect from the course, study techniques, common mistakes by msian students, and also make ID cards etc.
not as exciting as other unis where their seniors will "bully" you with fun activities.

no if cgpa not enough youll have to take Year 1. if its enough, you can enter Year 2 ,but compared to students of notts frm Year 1, you have to take additional modules, ard 2 or 3 more subjects per year la. ive not sure abt next year because they will revamp the syllabus. combine more modules into one. because like for mine last year, i took like 6-7 subjects per sem rclxub.gif they are gonna make it half that number next year.

ive got one room available, in sunway semenyih, 3 EE students 3rd year, 2guys and 1girl currently. abt rm 200 fully furnished but no air con. internet all available. can PM me thanx.

hmm i actually still have 1room empty, off campus accomodation at sunway semenyih, we are 3 EE students, final yr for the coming semester. if anyone interested can PM me, actually there are 2, one of my fren having an empty room at the same area too, but their house all female, so this might be good if a girl is looking for a room. thanx! btw the road from kajang to semenyih got diversion, shld be damn jammed up during peak hours, sigh
