where is the room location that u ask?

they block all bittottent means u cant connect to peer&seed. but emule works fine.

u can cook urself is good.. but trust me, when u reach sem2 or sem3 , after class lik engineering ppl 5pm go back tired+alot work to do that time also lazy cook lol.. maggi mee okla, if lik rich with dishes lol.. tired man!! 1st few weeks of sem1 very fun cooking with housemates.. but later sienzz.. based on my opinion lah.. if u are cooking addict i dunno lol..

where u get the info for the rental outside campus? is it from pioneer? i tot their accommodation all got aircon 1.. nvm, from wat i know, u cant get a streamyx ur own a house tat under manage by Pioneer(who manage uni accommodation dunno how to say lolz) . and streamyz currently available at TTS2 only and only provide to private houses mean u rent from a ppl outside. my fren stayin at tts2 and they rent it rm1k/month lol.. and they subscribe the streamyx their own.

for me i stay at bandar sunway semenyih and my house i rent at rm600/month. electric and water available but pay ur own and telephone line & streamyx i subscribe my own..

i have decided to join nottingham for my foundation studies and sent them my application form beginning of Feb. i haven't got a reply but instead i got this:

Dear students,

We regret to inform you that your application for accommodation in the
Halls of Residence have not been successful. However, we are pleased to
offer you accommodation in Tasik 4 (Wifi Precinct). Meanwhile, we
attach herewith information on Tasik 4 (Wifi Precinct) for your perusal.
Please let us know your choice of accommodation. Allocation will be
given on a first come first served basis (due to limited units). Please
note that you are committed to stay from the start of your semester term
(April) till the end of the academic year (May 2008).

If we do not hear from you by 28th February 2007, we will assume that
you have found your own alternative accommodation.

tasik4 means TTS4 there.. yup got wifi(extreame broadband i guess) choose single room if got lo.. if u prefer share with ppl choose twin sharing lo.. offcampus provide van fetch u to uni or u can walk to uni through a connected bridge lo..
for me i think is ok staying there if u can afford the exp rental as pioneer's accommodation is lik tat exp 1 lah. due to high demand there.. i dun think u can easilly find a house urself there.. so no choice and if im correct u also no transport..

Ah I see.. SO basically if you stay in a offcampus house, but under management.. You can't subscribe to your own Screamyx. You have friends who rented their house from someone else at Tasik 2 Halls and manage to get their internet connection, is that right?

Hmm... Seems that I gotta do more accommodation research. Any suggestions? Let me live with you?

I haven't even submitted my forms yet. Ugh. And I am going back to NS tomorrow. =.=

hey thanks for your reply. i havent got their acceptance letter but i got the email for the accommodation. does that mean im accepted to UNIM? btw, which "tasik" will allow me to have my own internet connection (streamyx) besides tasik 4? thanks again

Pioneer only provides Accomodation in TTS2 / TTS5 if I'd not mistaken.

according to the email they sent me Pioneer also provides accommodation in tasik 4. pls refer to post 766

TTS2 for now i can sure there u can get streamyx. but if the house u staying is under pioneer sorry u cant subscribe ur own..

err depends on your programme pure CS or CSMS (CS And Management System). well thats for my batch, dunno about the latest one coz the change the syllabus quite often
