i rent the house wif my frens 1k/month.. contract 9 months.. furnished, air-cond included.. internet, water, electric we pay ourselves.. 4 ppl share 1 house..

u cannot transfer to UK during yr final year..

UNLESS u willing to pay UK fees.. diff story..

anyway, i juz get a call from my house owner.. the house beside our house now is open for rent.. before this is empty.. located last row at TTS2.. anyone interested? i dunno bout the details yet.. juz tat the owner ask me to try find ppl.. 4 rooms, 1 master, 1 double, 2 single room.. juz asking if any newbies interested.. not advertising..

TTS2? need bicycle.. walk is quite far.. u can take bus cz it stops in front of the area..

LAN subjects? basically u hav 3.. BM, Moral, Malaysian Studies.. as long as u get a credit in BM for SPM.. u can skip tat..

the other 2 muz take unless u took it previously.. no exceptions..

pros and cons staying at BSS

pros:
relatively cheaper
most of the areas are guarded
mainly accommodate by families and students
near to shop/supermarkets

cons:
u need a car + petrol price hike
so far, the shuttle onli stops at the bus stop outside of BSS, which need u to walk at least 1km in
they usually provide 1year contract not 9 months contract
traffic jams during working hours

others:
if u r the kind of ppl who dislikes/lazy to cook and prefer driving out everyday.. stay at BSS.. nearer to restaurants

anything else? i guess tat covers most of it.

hey, u mean 3G or broadband? chien is asking 3G not broadband wo.. but i never tried 3G in campus yet..

i never try 3G at uni yet.. so cant comment on tat.. of cz new la.. juz finish build not long ago.. u went to hav a look ady? how big is the room huh? biggest n smallest.. or all same size?

it will be cute if u use tat!!! i will recognise u from far.. ha.. last time i tot of skating in uni.. but.. forget bout tat.. too "attractive".. then i m sure some will say i look stupid.. im SURE!!

library stil ok.. but sport complex is very faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..... they need to improve in some connectivity here..

TTS is not under uni.. private properties.. depends on wat type of house and room.. i think cheapest u can get is rm300~rm500..
some include electric&water bills some do not.. so better ask before u decide.
however, if u think it's stil expensive.. mayb u can consider tts2.. but the number of house is limited.. very small area n distant bit..

erm.. the best way is to go to the area itself.. then u will noe which house/room is for rent as they will put a board/card outside wif phone number..

besides that, there are oso some ppl will post in our uni's email.. but those mostly for those who rent a whole house n seeking housemates..

TTS5 aint cheap oso oh.. @may i asked 1 bangalow house.. he offer 2.2k/month for a whole year contract.. wtf.. tat's way too expensive.. i say thank you then byebye!

but tts4 is the most expensive so far.. 2.5k/month for 9months (pioneer own) not including electric, water and internet. but if it's private own, u can nego the price bit la..

if cannot nego price.. then nego bout facilities.. request bout extra things e.g. air-cond, washing machine, tv, furnitures, alarm, juz ask for anything u can to make yr money worth!

and be caution of the contract.. some 9 months some 1 year..

1.4k is consider ok ady.. tts5 some have 3 rooms some hav 4 rooms.. yes, u need a gang to make yr money worth. sharing room is the best but less privacy.

yes, applying on june is late.. dun forget bout foreign students too.. they need the accommodation more than u do.. and the increasing number of students result in insufficient of hostels.. even the car park is not enuf.. last time they told me there are not so many cars, but recently the increasing number of students, the 100+ car parks in not enuf for students and staff.

most of the houses in TTS is furnished with basic furniture at lest.. water heater n air-cond don't count.. but stove, tv should be provided.. anything u feel u need, u muz request.. if the owner is kind enuf, he/she wont charge u more. house keeping definitely no.. but some houses in TTS5 provides pest control and alarm system.. juz a few..

some houses are owned by some property companies esp when u see the phone numbers for a few houses is the same.. usually for this houses, the price wont be cheap and cannot nego..

water heater very easy onli la.. see that owner willing onot onli.. like my house in tts2.. i request a few things.. the owner very kind enuf to agree to all.. he will fix it for us before sem starts..

wanna note that.. u stil hav onli 1 month to find house/room.. n most of the rooms will be occupied by now, if u wish to rent outside, do it fast..
