its not me being bad...they are being acting shitty....good for u taking business foundation as almost 80% of the niggas end up in my engineering foundation dude! vmad.gif our population ratio become 1:1 to be serious...which means every 10 students in my foundation there are 5 of them who are niggas.... mad.gif damn...evrything is so cool bout this school except for the niggas...thrs really too many of them IMO...i wonder why the sch wanna accept so many nigga students swarming in sekaligus...damn...typical m'sia - MONEY

u can ask my other engineering batch...most of us have problems working out with those niggas, especially in IT projects, they know nothing bout PC operating omg vmad.gif n lotsa annoying issues bout them la...even the taxi drivers at kajang n semenyih reported having annoying encounters with their shitty attitude.... icon_idea.gif

so u said they are not majority, a 50:50 ratio is that considered minority? lol... doh.gif
Lol..that is for your foundation course mah..what I meant is that whole campus is still covered majority with malaysians.....

Anyway has the July intake classes started yet?

Do you all think that i should go to UNIM for my business foundation with all the Africa getting more and more in the campus? >"< I would really like to have my tertiary studies there but i know that the Africa will surely be a problem sooner or later in the campus. A good uni/college is all about having a good study enviroment, if not why would i still choose to study in UNIM?
*
I am now on campus ready. Staying here for one week on campus.

Anyway, Bostwana students seemed to be friendly I guess. I can see like more smiles on their faces and I guess that they are more educated or more modern than Nigeria. But anyways, both has their strengths and weaknesses.

Bepeon, someone taught gave me a very great advice.
In business, you will come across anyone in anyway. Therefore, if you are afraid to learn from getting along with different people, then it would be a waste for you to have an opportunity to learn something in the business world. There is always no other better way to start learning bout business in a university, because there are just different kind of people. In the future, you have to get along with people who irritates you too, as they might be your big client or something.

A good study environment depends on how you evaluate the environment yourself. I say that it is something special here. Some say here is boring. Some say here is not so good. What I can say is that it is something different, but you will have your opinion if you are here. So make your trip down and take a look for yourself. Trust me, there is nothing to lose. icon_rolleyes.gif

Although there are many things that I am not satisfied, but until now, I did not regret to come here. thumbup.gif

*
Said it right man. Yeah you should not judge's on people's comments. It's bad.

wassup!!  cool2.gif  im gonna apply 4 sep intake. im a diploma holder gonna apply for mech eng. so is the course lAN accdtd?? i check LAN website and deg in mech eng is not listed in their perakuan akreditasi list,  yawn.gif  but it is in their kursus kelulusan list. the sahlaku is from 2003 to 2008. what does that mean?  hmm.gif  n does nottingham offer scholarship for doing well in first sem? let's say, i score 4.0 for the 1st sem, is there any kind of scholarship i can apply for the 2nd sem??
*
Have you taken LAN studies during the diploma period? If you passed, then you don't have to take anymore here. But do get the credits from your previous education institution. Do double check here though.

Anyway as for the scholarship, I do not think that you can apply for scholarship in second semester after doing well in the first. Scholarship is usually applied for 1 whole year, no half a year I guess. But anyway, do check out at the admin building. Things can change laugh.gif
Try PTPTN Loan if you want..A lot of people are getting that if i'm not wrong...

In UNIM, there is always one way you can tell whether a student is new or old.

The secret is if they still wear the student tag, it is still new, if they don't, then they are old. This secret might not be true at times. Haha

@ efy6kvl:

I'm not an enginneering student, but from what I gather, MEng is an extended degree study which allows you to study for an extra year to allow 4 years of degree engineering studies. This is to accomodate most engineering institutions' minimum qualifications of an MEng to be a chartered engineer.

Postgraduate is simply seperate degrees that you do after you have completed your first degree in engineering, be it by coursework, MPhil, PhD/EngD/D.Eng

*correct me if i'm wrong engineers smile.gif*

I'm a July intake student. Doing foundation now. It's semester break now. They have lots of rooms in campus. I'm planning to stay there for a month till the new semester begins in September then I'll move out. So I'm wondering whether I can do that.

is there any offer for master to study in this U? im interested to cont abroad .. smile.gif .. maybe twin program something like 1+1 for master level? .. smile.gif .. how about loan or scholarship? .. do I have enough qualification if my degree cgpa is around 3.33 (2nd upper) from mmu? .. smile.gif .. tq ..
*
There are programmes for master in Nottingham. But I am not sure whether they will let you study oversea or not. Try asking the admin building.

The telephone number for the university is 03-8924 8000. Ask for the admin (courses enquiry) and they will redirect you.

Hopefully you get what you are looking for, but of course do not forget, do check out the uni too before making sure.
