Description 
Zedd is a 15-year-old boy who lives in Calm. He is frustrated by daily life, and he's seeking for the place to try his possibilities.

One day, a mysterious wind invites him to a time-space crevasse. He dives into the crevasse seeking for the answer that might be there.

Where he lands is another world. There, "Shadow Casters" have been fighting against each other endlessly using "Shadow", which is a crystal of magical power. With the power of Shadow, the Shadow Caster uses magic and monsters called "Split".

Fascinated by the power, Zedd wants to be a Shadow Caster. However, he doesn't know that a big Spirit, "Amil Gaul", lies in his body, and that its power is so large as to influence the future of this world...

is ok if something like naruto or bleach, just dont make it longer than 26ep is all fine to me.

imagin if naruto or bleach are 26eps anime then it will be so nice ......

Just watched Kiba episode 2. Well, it's nothing like Naruto or Bleach. It's more like pokemon honestly, except more violent. But, I like it, Kiba is kinda cool. And as for the number of episodes? I predict at least 100...

Yeah, they sortove kill each other and collect each other's monsters (spirits). Instead of pokemon masters or whatever, they are called shard casters. They don't explain very much about what's going on but I suppose that's what it is about. And Zedd's spirit is a hell lot cooler than pikachu :P

I got the first ep from that bowing group, orz. My setup doesn't allow me to play idx or ass or whatever they're using style subs properly, so I don't know what their actual styling looks like. Video quality is not bad and translations are pretty good. 2nd episode I watched raw, so I dunno.

btw, ive watched the 1st ep.. not much i can tell bout the story so far, mostly all still very blurr.. so i juz couldnt determine wether its good or not yet.. sweat.gif

Shadow caster? Dunno, it sounds like shard to me. They use those little shard thingies. It could be shadow though, pronunciation is about the same for both.

2nd ep is quite good.. now i can see y u guys said that it was pokemon-ish.. but that spirit thingy is way cooler than a monster that can be fit into a red n white ball, except 4 zed's spirit that is, his looks more like a long haired naked guy tongue.gif

i think im gonna stick wit it, quite a nice story.. n it has a very serious feel 2 it..

n btw, it is shard caster.. kyuu must have did a mistake on the 1st ep.. sweat.gif

At first I think the anime is a bit of The Matrix wannabe..., then Zed got transferred from Calm to this new place and yada yada, boring stuff.

When I saw his best fren got transferred to, I think it might get interesting. If it doesnt get interesting in the next 5 eps, I'll delete it.

i would say this is something similar to marchen awakens romance...just that its more serious...

anyway the planning of the story so far is excellent...both zed and the other dude's character are being built up pretty good.

I just started seeing ep 1. Already feeling like digimon. Is it good, or should I just delete this anime? anyone seen the whole series can give me spoiler what kind of anime is this?

Added on May 30, 2007, 7:59 pmWell I almost finished it. 50/51 eps. Its very easy to hate this anime, and hard to like it. It has something in it but then I am not sure you want to watch the whole series just to see what its worth
