well, do you plan to focus more on graphic design or website design or become a know it all..? if you want to be a graphic designer, then the website should remain simple but nice enough to showcase your portfolio. that should be the main priority for you. if you want to be a website designer, you can add more stuff into the website like Flash (with value), xHTML/CSS stuff and other website things. Then your portfolio should sport more projects done in the web category than offline. The basic links you should have are Home, Portfolio, About Me, Resume and some nowadays include a blog so that some employers might like to know what you're interested in or what kinda person you are. If you're planning to land a job in your chosen field, make sure your portfolio shows it enough. Cheers.

thx for the advices from u all, i will take note
hmm, actually i dun wan to restrict myself as a one-field designer (although thru my studies, i found myself more interested in web design and editorial design), but
i think i wan to highlight this two fields (two specific link for them) together with other works as well, eg. logo design, sketches, poster ads blah blah
thx again

1. If your website r meant to introduce yourself, please don't use any music. Kinda annoying you know.
2. And please use standard font for viewing. Normally verdana arial times etc etc. 3. Don't leave any space at right or left, better keep it to the left and the top image should be at the top, no space between the image. 4. Don't use any image if it's not yours. Copyright issue since you have your own domain. Make sure you use your own image or manipulated image. Not just take it from another stock photo.
Hmmm. More will come.
