i have this high sierra backpack, quite nice looking and my 14.1" Wide screen laptop can fit inside perfectly, the problem is it doesnt have paddings, and no nylon covered foam like on the bag that comes with the laptop.

now i have 2 options, i'll rip off that nylon foam from my acer slingbag and sew it inside the high sierra backpack or look for a cushion type thing to sew inside my backpack.

can you guys suggest a material and where can i find this? or maybe you can suggest a shop that do modding of backpack? biggrin.gif

I see you're trying to use materials that you already have. Maybe you can bring the padding to the tailor to get it sewn better. The foam from your ACer bag sounds good. Just get it out in the best condiiton possible...

Do make sure your slings are strong enough esp. at the seams...since a laptop is much heavier than the usual load.
