Wasted my quota to download it. I was having high hopes as RR2 is really entertaining. This, I don't know how to describe. Slow motion when cornering makes the whole thing so unlike racing.

Its a nice game actually, iap or not
Most complainers on internet come from jb'ers that used to playing pirated game
Since there's no premium version that they can just make it into ipa for all the cheapskate pirate to install
Im still not finish with the pure stock challenge but all the opponent cars is not crazy as haters claim it to be. They all, just stay in one line. If you crashing here and there and damaged your car, its your own fault. In reality, that car needed the time for repairs or service. Well i suggest you keep money and get yourself another car that can be use in the series, so less on waiting.
The slow motion post above saying? I dont know. Maybe need calibration or steering sensitivity changes. I've tried the left right button for control and its ridiculous fast motion sudden cornering make me go back to tilting my ipad for steering

Flawed logic. For those who fancy *ehem-ehem* version, they're tech-savvy enough have a crack IAP workaround, or wait for one to pop out in JB (remember The Simpsons Tapped Out "Donuts" currency?)

Personally I've bought mine copies of Real Racing 2 last time, both iPad and iPhone version. Having Real Racing 3 to went this direction is an insult to their earlier fanbase.

About repair, I say your's just a crappy excuse EA realy love to hear. What, you race 3-5 events and you need to change oil already? And yeah, I've just bought a car, need to wait again? Wow, that's so real! Why not just send us up a real steering so it will add up realism, right?

Ok ok, It's not like I'm totally against the whole 'repair' mechanics. Done right, it may add up to the real-ness of the experience (or whatever it is). But then the timers are just pure BS.

Btw, have fun getting Koenigsegg Agera R. It's priced at 800 Gold(coins?). Roughly translated to USD80.00, and that's just for ONE car. Way more expensive than a console game. And wait there's more, the cheapest way to accumulate that amount is by having you to actually buy gold in pack of 1000's. So you need to shell USD100 to buy that particular ONE car. It seems that they're far more bold than Activision with their Call Of Duty cashcow.

No need to be so defensive, and there's no reason to tell everybody that whiners are just advocators of piracy. You see, people whining since they do really love this franchise, and people just felt betrayed by this. Well, it's not just us, even The Verge shared the very same sentiment:

The Verge : 'Real Racing 3' is ruined by in-app purchases

Btw, if you do really love playing Real Racing 3, you have to be really thankful to those 'whiners' of whom you dissed, and accused of nonsenses. You see, I've played this weeks ago (NZ launch) and the timers are super, super bad. Due to the strong words in the online community, EA toned down the timers several times that makes it more palatable for the likes of you. But then, it's still a ripoff.

I love this game, far better than RR2. Its not about you get the fastest cars, its about racing! and all events are limited by car class.

Anyway, the tracks they put in this is the real one similar to gran turismo or forza which I feels right at home.

And whoever having problem waiting car for service, its just a start. Once you bought 3, 4 or more cars, things are faster. Who need to buy in IAP while the most enjoying part in this game is about driving.

btw, add me in gamecenter and try beat my best time smile.gif : ridhuannaim@gmail.com

I have been playing it the past couple of days on my iPad 3 and it runs smooth. As for the IAP, I didn't like it as well but that's what it is going to be like, so instead of just totally boycott the game, I just use some strategy to play it.

I have 3 cars now and use it on rotation and also winnings from races to slowly upgrade parts. Timers a problem? Not for me, if all three cars are waiting for service or repairs, then just let it run its course, put down the iPad and do something else.

Patience is such a rare commodity these days, everybody wants everything fast fast fast. For me it's the journey to get to the super cars that is the fun part. I guess different people got different needs. For those who decided to stick to the game, give it some time and slowly build your way up the ladder and enjoy the process. For those who can't wait, well, there's always other racing games which is also nice.

Happy gaming everyone.

Not brake assist...

I turned everything off from day1. Getting used to the weird slow-mo when braking into the corner.

Its hard to say whether this is better or what. Its still quite taxing on the graphic, which might explain why cars that are not that near appear quite polygonal shaped. It was much realistic if anything considering how much slides you get as soon as you wear down your tires.

Are those other racers playing live all over the world when you have internet connectivity? I hate how much they slowed down into the corner. Always hit them and damage my car. Its fun playing bumper car when all the parts are worn down.

The problem with it is why we always start from dead last? No qualification, and there is absolutely no way to get through the traffic without getting involved in some sort of banging around especially through the street circuit at early stage where there's traffic jams at the first few corners.

Seriously flawed...
