That's for OSK-UOB funds right? Eastspring Investments, HwangIM, AmInvestment and many others free switching from equity to bond. From bond to equity, bear the Sales Charge differential.
*
I'm only generally referring to switching fee.

Others extra charge is not in the discussion.

Switching is not as simple as that as you pointed out.

Hello, that article was dated September 18, 2012 doh.gif

Yes. The 2nd link is but 1st link was last weekend IIRC.

Since FSM is relating it to the current Taiwan article, I believe that they're still up for their claim on Greater China region.

Lately, Asia Pacific ex Japan is being hit greatly.

Pulled a comparison between MSCI World Index and MSCI Asia Pacific ex Japan, the later index lagged behind.

Not entirely:

1. Public Asian Ittikal Fund (heavily at Greater China)
2. AmAsia Pacific REITs Fund (heavily in Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong)
3. Aberdeen Islamic World Equity Fund - Class A

Yes, Shahriah-compliant fund.

Used to have Public China Select Fund but cut loss.

I don't have China-focus fund now.

Read an article today, if I'm not mistaken a MarketWatch.com article. It says, when China slows down (esp its booming construction sector), so will Australia. So, take your bet. wink.gif
*
That's a high correlation between China and Australia. China is major importer of Australian commodities export.

Yes, I'm shifting to less China. As to why, there are various articles that discuss this when you Google. Of course, how you interpret them is up to you.
*
I have avoided China and Greater China for nearly a year. I still have less confidence (skeptical) on the overconfidence by fund houses.

Nevermind, I believe there's a segregation between CIMB and government.

CIMB business is not totally in Malaysia.

I have purchased 2k for this fund.
