*
I'll update you next Monday. So busy with work I haven't got the time to track it for awhile now.

Btw anyone of you realize that unit price are not updated that often now? It used to be -2 days difference top. But lately it can go up to 3-4 days. And I'm talking about FSM and unitprice website.

No, usually by late afternoon they'd update the NAV price for immediate preceding business day. Only HwangIM funds a bit slow, could be late 1 day.
*
Yeap. Hwang exactly. I know you get your unit prove from FSM. I'm using invest.com.my

My portfolio total return in terms of value is hitting new high almost every other day since last week. Worry abit la as i plan to top up MY funds during the FSM promotion.
*
Yup. My Asia Quantum value is hitting new high everyday too. The last time I checked simple return calculations was close to 15% or more (if my memories serve me correctly)

Next Monday lar smile.gif

I won't be topping up MY fund. Now for accumulating on global fund (my portfolio now Asia ex Japan focused high)

Pink is a big shark also. Rebalance one when the other one rose and cause his portfolio to be 'out-of-balance' tongue.gif

So if one side rose +10% he will have to top up another side 10% smile.gif correct me if I'm wrong. Just doing a quick catch up on the past few pages

at first i thought to rebalance, need to sell off the extra,...i was wrong...it was the reverse...very interesting....top up discipline.

I'm also like Pink. Ada lesen want smile.gif

But we have different approach of investing. We would all say there is no right or wrong. Like ''someone'' said (forgotten who), as long as you get to cover your SC or exit fee, it just depends on how much you want your ROI to be to sell smile.gif

Still sound a bit crazy if you ask me. If let's say- 10% is RM5,000, you have to top up RM5,000.

Roughly took a look at the latest NAV price. Looking good, except for PGS. Bought in the price which dropped the next day. Luckily got other fund to cover.

Kaka, as promised will update my excel tomorrow smile.gif of course must exclude my PGS out of this. Sigh.

Haha.. thanks! Actually no need to purposely do it just for me la, unless you always update your holdings every end of the week la..
*
No problem. This is probably my only free time of the year. Gotta update all my top up holdings in my work sheet.

Pink, I wonder why you still hold on to PGS. Even without it, I believe it doesn't have any significant impact to your portfolio in terms of geographical exposure. Yes/no?

Bought into PGSF just a few months ago, too short a timeframe to judge it. I bought it mainly to boost my exposure to Australia, Singapore, HK and (a bit on) US. My main global fund is OSK-UOB Global Equity Yield, PGSF serves as a "support" global fund in case OUGEY fail to deliver.
*
I was actually deciding whether to top up on Select Asia Quantum or to invest in a new fund. Both have exposure in Singapore, HK etc. But SAQ is on the high side now. Hence my investment in PGS.

My next investment would be in REITS. But price is on the high side as well. Low dividend yeild. Not attractive.

Goodness. Bought in PGS, and it falls two days consecutively. Damn Pacific! Luckily I have other funds to back me up. But still...

Select Asia Quantum dropped as well.

Buying in OSK-UOB KidSave today. Was hesitating if I should include a balance fund into my portfolio. But looking at PGS, I'm buying in KidSave solely to hedge against PGS 'future' loss (if any).

That was my investment plan actually. I've bought it (Aiiman Select Income) as a hedge for more riskier fund (Aiiman Growth). Plus it got exposure to Asia market as well.

We have the same thinking. Using a fund to hedge against the other biggrin.gif

Sai ng sai hedge oh sweat.gif

If u don't believe in PGSF, might as well dump it
*
It will be a matter of time before I dump PGS. As long as it hits minimum 4% - 5% in any point of the year, I will sell it.

On a side note, received FSM transfer form. Finally able to pool all my unit trusts under the same platform smile.gif

Kaka, how much returns from Select Asia Quantum on your side? Traditional return calculations - for me 19% to date.
