Last few weeks I have a phone interview conference with DELL Penang and DELL Texas. Questions more to technical. Then suddenly today got a call from them for the face to face interview on next two week, with their Senior IT Manager.

B4 going to the interview I need to know the working environment there, is it OK? What question that they always ask or any tips for me for the interview especially with DELL.

After my second interview (face 2 face) they called me to discuss on salary and packages offered. Everything going smooth and I will start to work there on next month June 2006. Thank all .... cheers

IT engineer. Are u form DELL?

I apply for Wintel Systems Engineer but in the offer letter stated IT Engineer.

Technical questions that they ask just a basic Windows questions, such as:
- what protocol involved in PING function?
- question on ipconfig command, tracert command etc
- what the standard port for Microsoft SQL?
- how the clustering work?
- where to set the virtual memory setting?
- load balancing questions..
- etc (cannot remember already)

It takes me 2 weeks to get the phone interview..

KLKS, did u accept their offer? if yes when u will start with DELL?

What about benefit in DELL, I think they just offer a basic packages for their staff. May be someone from DELL can give some comment .

DELL really good, believes me . It depend on how do you manage your self with the situation.

The normal working hours 8am - 5pm

Yes they have, you can apply under IT department.

They will open a new office in Cyberjaya soon. Most of new hired will be based in cyberjaya.

On august 2006 my friend in KL will start to work in Dell cyberjaya at their temporary office.
Dell will have their own nice building within 18-24 month from now.

The first batch will start on 14 July 2006.
He got the Senior Systems Analysis position there...
