ok, just updated RR3 on my GN2 last night, then today got chance to try out the new interface, everything silky smooth 

i wonder is it just me or it was because of the update, i notice that after update, the opponents are no longer as aggressive as previously 

now i can easily overtake them on straight roads and corners after i fully upgraded the cars. tested with GTR and Gallardo (both road version) and also the Sumo GTR, now it seems like very easy to win in race, regardless of which type of race 

it feels like the player's car is the only one who got upgraded, but opponent cars are still stock standard
