I have meet some of them can speak canto. Majority of vietnamese is chinese viet. Specially north side. While toward south side is mix with cambodian.

They are mostly still untouch. (kampung type) But not that far from money eye. Vietnam develop very fast.

I use to go viet work in various factory. So meet many viet local girl. Very easy talk if they know canto/mandarin/english. Even meet some can talk malay. As they been to here for work.

Ho chi minh is not really modern. Hanoi is more modern.

Those near to the cambodia border is mix or cambodia native. Vietnamese do have racist. Majority is chinese culture and racist toward cambodia native.

No lah. Vietnam ppl also have many race. But they different by skin color.

Those HCM have a mix of Cambodia and Laos race. Which is darker skin. While north mostly china type. So no surprise some Vietnamese can speak canto and mandarin.
