It would seem the Beta Test hit somewhat of a brick wall last week when i got an email from someone who goes by the name Strizzt that the BolehBlogs! name is in conflict with blog rings project located at http://bolehblogs.insatiably.net/.

Matter of fact is i have scoured the local blogging scene for sometime never knowing about the existence of such a blog ring, and the bolehblogs name was conjured up after about 6 hours of fiddling around with a domain name creation tool. BolehBlogs was basically one of the few usable selection the thing threw up that was not taken. Registered and done, wp Wordpress up and running, i ran bolehblogs through google, and through enough, Strizzt's page appeared, and was a bit shocked, but didn't give it too much thought as it was entirely on a different domain.

However, the email came along towards the second week of testing, and in a proper sense, i was inclined to let Strizzit keep the bolehblogs name, while we shift to something else. Then i hit another brick wall because i just could not find any other proper domain name to use!

So we're down to this. Can we find another domain name, that would be usable?
If yes, please put your suggestions down here.

If not

I'm not sure how long the insatiably.net bolehblogs project is going to be or where it is headed, but my take on it is that a blog ring is just not going to cut it in an age where Digg and other Web 2.0 applications are taking flight. Both sites are indeed targetted at the blogging community, and therefore I would prefer the local blogging community to decide on whether we should get a different name, or stick with BolehBlogs.com.

guest18, when i open a serious topic requesting for suggestions, you either read and give suggestions, or if you have none, don't bother suggesting anything. This is not the kopitiam.

BolehBlogs! will now be known as Blogsentral.com

blogcentral is definately a high class domain and obviously taken

blog.lowyat.net would means the username will be at the end, and be a somewhat lowyat members blog. Blogsentral (formerly bolehblogs) is targetted at bloggers in general.

Blogcentral.com is a registered domain since 2002. Just because there isn't a website doesn't means its available

90% of the term blog(s) with a common word is taken up, usually registered by domain squatters and sold of for insane prices if someone wants it.
