Totally agree with bro daydreaming's reply.

No new sets means will look to older sets when hand starts to get itchy. For me it's the LOTR sets. Still can't get over it.

Maybe I should start to build my unopened sets first to satisfy the "hunger".......

Good morning fellow AFOLS!

QUOTE(Ultraman the great @ Mar 25 2013, 03:16 PM)
I have benefited from alby's CS. I will try to post more and paying it forward. biggrin.gif

Those that frequent spore, there are always sales around the island. Just last week and the week before that, they had some 20% promotion, and those big sets are really a steal. modulars at RM600, and arkham asylum was also at <RM600.

Also, it is highly expected that the newer 2013 sets are going to be cheap in terms of RRP. So if you can wait, i strongly suggest waiting. Take palace cinema for example. RRP in spore is expected to be SGD250 only. toystation have their stock at about RM585, but it all sold out bcos everyone wants a piece of the action since its new.

happy hunting!

wahhhh.... that's a lot cheaper than here. damn ALJ!

Hi everyone,
This is my first post in Lowyat Forum
Recently found this thread and have been following since then. Still learning to navigate around.  sweat.gif

Previously only purchase Lego through the local retail shops and on ebay. After reading over here only found all the alternative ways. Now, even have reasons to go for a trip to Hong Kong, Singapore or Taiwan.  whistling.gif
Thank you all very much for taking all the efforts to share everything about Lego. Really benefited from it but at the same time also heavily poisoned due to the continuous poisoning.  icon_question.gif

As for me,
At the moment would focus on modular buildings (aiming to build a row of modular buildings by the end of the year  rolleyes.gif )
and some interesting Lego - Friends sets as I like those newly introduced light-coloured bricks.

In future, will definitely share anything that I find interesting about Lego.

welcome welcome! it's a crazy fun community here, you'll regret it cos everyone will be poisoning u with their lego hauls!! hahahah just kidding. good to have more people in our growing community.

If the price is right - of course will support the brothers (and sisters, if there are any) here!

My concern about your 2nd paragraph - if it's sold out here (retail), all of you have lubang to bring in?

Example during my recent scouting missions, I hardly see Set # 9473 (The Mines Of Moria) on the shelves. Don't see many bros here carrying that in stock (or maybe I wasn't really looking!).

Assuming if and when I want to get it (and if I start the LOTR, I want the whole Fellowship), resellers here will be able to get it?

I'm asking as I'm new to the "game".

i am bringing that in, but my price is not the best. no promotion at that time. i think seydee has some smile.gif u can ask him about it.

if US still has the item...and not retired. then no issue, we can bring them in.

but i got customers asking for retired stuff like the space shuttle and pirates of the carribean ships...........those very hard lor

im planning to purchase online and have it delivered to my cousin's place in the UK... and was wondering is it's possible for me to do it myself or will I have to give her my account info and ask her to log in and purchase and pay with UK card or something?
