hello all sifus,

I wanna try doing detailing to my 2009 black satria neo:

so far from what i've read (or skim)

1. wash, either using soap or detergent - do i really need to use meguiars?
2. claying - erm, 3M / PG / Mothers / meguiars? lube use water or need diluted soap?
3. wash again?
4. polish, this is the part where i do not know what to use, can recommend?
5. sealant? is this required? if yes what to use
6. wax, i looked around, i see some brands like mothers and turtle, even meguiars but i really dont know what to choose.

can get some advice please? product aint cheap >.< haha

things i gotta get would be MF, clay bar, soap, power tool (pinjam from friend, he has a skil polisher), time and space?

thank you very much!

My personal suggestion, if you're looking for a decent quality products that's value for money, go for Duragloss.
All Purpose Cleaner - DG403 All Purpose Cleaner
Sealant - DG105 Total Performance Polish
Spray Sealant - Optimum Car Wax
Applicator - Osrens
Microfiber cloths - Osrens
Dressings for tires, exterior plastics, etc. - DG253 Duragloss Tire & Rubber dressing

The above are just my personal recommendation for those starters that are looking for decent products at decent price. My personal favorite....errr...that's a different story la.
Any sealant would do. Forget about those colour specific sealant....they're just BS.
Yeah...Megs UC & UP can be use with a polisher just fine. Which Skil polisher btw?
