use QD/clay lube/shampoo, and detailing clay/clay cloth

why are you claying with wax? wax is not supposed to clean bird poop.

what clay are you using anyway? sounds like the clay is not doing its job. you should not waste your clear coat for bird poop by compounding/polishing them :/

Polish didn't work? Compound should work. Just a small spot, I don't think it will harm the paint that much.

it's clear that PG clay suck. (read back some pages i remember there are people commented about it, or was it v1 thread? iinm mywifecar used and commented before)
again, try using car shampoo as clay lube, with 1:1 or 1:2 shampoo:water dilution (at least also some decent shampoo, like kura kura f21 or osren/duragloss lol)

do not use wax/polish cream for bird droppings, and most certainly do not apply pressure. if there's one thing in detailing i learn (in a hardway), that is if you're unsure about anything, do NOT apply pressure.

just try the steps i mentioned, and use water rinse off and dry whatever water that's left.

and again, don't need wax.
wax is AFTER you're done removing that bird dropping.

dry to haze only, no need wait a minute. considering our malaysian hot weather and assuming you're doing this daytime, it takes around/less than a minute to haze. by the time you're done on the 2nd panel the first would be hazed up already.

you can apply light pressure, remove residue, and flip another clean/cleaner side to buff to a shine. if you're not used to flipping/folding cloth, have 2 MF cloths then: 1 to remove excess wax, the other for a shining buff.

if it still leaves wax residue or buffing off is hard (TW hard shell basic wax tends to do that), you may consider having a spray bottle beside with water or as i mentioned with the dual cloth, have the 1st cloth slightly damp and that will ease on removing residues

- Fold and quarter the microfiber cloth, using one side to remove wax from the car’s finish. Turn cloth over and wipe to a high gloss shine.
- If necessary, use a damp microfiber towel to remove excess wax and buff lightly with a dry microfiber towel.

After reading about the stuffs that he tried, it doesn't sound like any 'normal' poop. Anyway, the colour do look like rust....a 'heavy metal' birdie...???!!!

@sakurazz, how does the surface on that particular area feels like? Or, better still, you know anybody who has those 30X handheld microscope or something similar....?

heck, look what birdie can do to my friend's car. even with tribos coating

took it back to service center and my guess is that they touch up the affected area.
cause I see holograms on that area. sayang la its a new car, just 2 months.

ya your case a bit weird, I think normal cases polish/compound can easily remove the stain right.
I normally just wash off bird poo stains with car wash shampoo
