Haven't seen their work so can't comment. Shouldn't be a problem to have the paint corrected elsewhere then bring the car home and do the coating yourself, provided you give the car a good wash again and do an IPA wipedown for good measure.

It depends on how they "clean" your car after polish.

Proper way is to use IPA, to clean all residue(polish liquid etc) from your car then only apply coat.
Even if they do it, you can do it again though, just to be clean enough for the coating liquid to stick to your car paint nicely.

Also a small suggestion, apply the coat properly as instruct, then you will get a nice coated car.

Mix with water on ratio 1:10. Then spray onto your car and start wiping clean.

Yes, use microfiber cloth aka MF cloth to wipe.

Then not much paint correction to be done really, but still better do before coating. I mean just a light one will be just fine.
