QUOTE(arj @ Oct 3 2013, 11:58 AM) http://autodetailer.co This one sure price kabooommm...There's also several detailers in the Automotive section of the forum offering their services, their work looks good. Btw, Goodwell Car Detailer's Studio , Street West Coast Customs ( SWCC ) ,Auto Lovers Malaysia ok? Let said i'm doing with them for paint correction and later back to home doing paint coat...it's okay? |

QUOTE(arj @ Oct 3 2013, 03:16 PM) Haven't seen their work so can't comment. Shouldn't be a problem to have the paint corrected elsewhere then bring the car home and do the coating yourself, provided you give the car a good wash again and do an IPA wipedown for good measure. Mean after back to home just wash normal with plain water and let it dry. Later put coating on it? |

QUOTE(MyWifeCar @ Oct 4 2013, 10:34 AM) It depends on how they "clean" your car after polish. Where can buy IPA? Proper way is to use IPA, to clean all residue(polish liquid etc) from your car then only apply coat. Even if they do it, you can do it again though, just to be clean enough for the coating liquid to stick to your car paint nicely. Also a small suggestion, apply the coat properly as instruct, then you will get a nice coated car. Good Luck. Wash -> IPA wipe down -> Coat. For wash...using microfiber cloth? Sorry newbie.. |

QUOTE(MyWifeCar @ Oct 4 2013, 11:11 AM) Oh, new car is it. Mostly shop give quotation price range on RM250-RM550..using Meguiars..Then not much paint correction to be done really, but still better do before coating. I mean just a light one will be just fine. For coating thinking either Opti Coat or Igreenlover quartzcoat... |
