When you say "purchase locally", you meant getting it OTC(Over the Counter) as in easily bought in Supermarkets, or it's OK to purchase online from local sites and shipped to you?

preferably to purchase over counter, maybe eneos or ace hardware smile.gif

The easier way is to start with a brand that has everyting that you need. Most established brand would have the basic products that you mentioned. If you're looking to buy them from local stores (specifically ACE Hardware), you can look for Meguiars, Mothers, Sonax, 3M, etc. For online, Meguiars, Mothers, Duragloss, Sonax, or Optimum. I can try to suggest details from each brand if you like.

Currently I using cheapo Permeglass clay bar and sealant too on my current car... But planned for new car this year and looking for better detailing methods by DIY with better products... smile.gif

the reasons I ask for assistance as too much variety of choices, such as Meguairs Waxing have 3 different type even though I can understand the purpose for each products, some wax come with polish compound etc and looking for best combination of products for better result...

anyway, i looking the product which serve the only purpose, clay means clay only, wax means wax only some sort... Meaning not looking for those all in one (wash + polish + wax) products smile.gif

Are you having problem with your car that it is not clean enough? Or you want to see some water beading?

If you are currently purely claying and sealing, may I suggest you something like DG 501. You need to clean the surface of oil/substance, before sealing.

This way your sealant can last longer. Your car can be cleaned easier too for the next wash.

The PG sealant can see the water beading... But having hard time for buff away the haze of sealant... By removing the haze may creating the minor scratches too as some dirts building up when cleaning... So looking for alternative methods which may easier for detailing too...
