Bumped into this thread and noticed that bro KrisMas is here too. Got a couple of questions to ask. Where can I get IPA? My understanding is IPA wipedown can remove all the polishing oils and other stuff from the paint which allows the sealant to bind with the paint better? On clay bar, for soft 99 there is one for light coloured paint and another one for darker coloured paint. Is one more effective than the other? Meguiars has inky. 1 type right? Appreciate any advise.

QUOTE(KrisMas @ Jun 29 2013, 09:29 AM) Even using it neat, it wont harm the paint, IPA is a very weak solvent. But it'll be a little wasted if u use the spray method as some would have evaporated before it has the time to do its job. Better go 1:1 with distilled water....or 25% even....then you wound have time to wipe whatever it desolved before they're dry up again. Thanks for the assurance. I will take note of the method next time

QUOTE(meme00 @ Jul 13 2013, 09:17 AM) hi all, i'm new to all this. not sure if this is the right place to ask but just got car this week. i wanted to know when should i start to do wax and polishing for it? straightaway or wait for sometime first? and how many times do i do it in a month? hope someone can advise me or direct me to the right channel. thanks You can do it immediately to start the paint protection. As factory paint is fully cured when it reaches you. Unless the car just resprayed then u should wait at least a month before using any wax or sealant.

QUOTE(GRexer @ Jul 13 2013, 02:15 PM) Can't help on the M205 as they are sold by the gallon, but alternatively, you could get the M101(originally meant for rotary and cutting pads anyway) in a quart(32oz.) from Supreme Care. Cool thanks This post has been edited by flowerhorn: Jul 13 2013, 03:34 PM

QUOTE(ckdenion @ Jul 14 2013, 11:15 PM) Duragloss...first time heard dis brand...im quite new to all this products...cz wanted to start waxing d car myself...all d while just washing the car...waxing will send to car wash shop to do... liquid form wax means...spray on and wipe off instantly...m i correct? those paste wax is applying first then wait for a while then only wipe off with dry cloth? I find duragloss very good too...spray wax is spray and wipe off. Very easy but don't last long. You notmally use it on top of a normal wax to boost it after washing. Liquid wax normally has cleaners blended together as well, so it will clean your paint and apply a layer of protection.

QUOTE(chongkiatz @ Sep 9 2013, 08:46 PM) i dont expect to be like those RM300~400 powerjet , but more than enough to wash a car more easy haha , i already place order , would be get it next week , u know what , the garden hose sprayer u need to keep on press it , with EZ u just trigger it and let it do the job. Bro, garden hose not as bulky. IMO the ez jet is just a gimmic. But do let us know the quality and performance once u started using it ya.
