DG Aquawax is great stuff. Used properly you can get a month's plus protection under Malaysia's conditions - mind you, my test subject is a car which stays in the blazing afternoon sun and rain every weekday without shade - it's a good spray wax for the lazy waxer (like me) to have for it's price.

Really that great? How if compared it's durability with OCW?
Might get a gallon from next autogeek sales. brows.gif

Agreed with GRexer. In my humble opinion, cleaner wax is not an effective way to remove water spot / watermarks from car surfaces.

Well, let's wait and see the result.
neekun please do update us.

hi guys should we use clay bar with water wiping entire car then only apply spray wax or we can directly use clay bar with spray wax wiping entire car?
*
I will wash my car (panel by panel), let it remains wet then clay the surface with the aid of clay lube.
After that, rinse off then wipe dry the car and apply spray wax.

The purpose of claying the surface is to remove the contaminant.
Waxing is to provide protective layer to the surface.

If you were to use clay bar with spray wax, the clay will adsorb the wax and causes the waste of the spray wax.

If wrong statement, senior member kindly point out. Also newbie in car care.

By the way, does you all clay the whole car? and may I know how long will a bar of clay last?
*
Once clay will clay whole car.
Since I clay the car 6 months once, so far still usable.
At the box stated ~20 times. I would say depending on the clay conditions. smile.gif

Will the Clay Bar scratch our surface ? Since it will absorb dusty right?
*
May or may not depending the way you use it.

QUOTE
You always want to keep a fresh side of the clay on the paint, so be sure to inspect it often. Do a few small sections, and then flip the clay over to exposure a fresh side. After you have done both sides, you can fold the clay a few times, knead it, and then re-flatten it out to make sure you have a clean piece of clay to work with. You should continually check the clay to make sure there are no heavy pieces of debris in it that could potentially harm the finish.

If the clay bar drop on the floor, don't ever use it.

is it? previously i shop in ace hardware. no discount at all.

ohya guys for drying MF which one is better? cobra or meguiars water magnet?
*
Ace hardware no discount and the Megs Products are very limited.
Parkson items with 10% discount are highlighted in orange in the price tag if I'm not mistaken. Whenever I passed by, since a couple years back always 10% discount for Megs.

Cobra is superb but megs water magnet is sufficient.

ya, i think all product are on orange tag  biggrin.gif . is there any different btw Ultimate Wax Liquid and NXT™ Tech Wax 2.0 Liquid? which one will be easier for a beginner?
*
I believe NXT Tech Wax 2.0 is a cleaner wax that not recommend to apply so frequent.
No idea about Ultimate Wax though.

Both are easy to apply. In my case, I felt NXT tech wax 2.0 is a bit hard to buff of compared to Ultimate Liquid Wax (same thin layer applied).

Would u get Ultimate Wash and wax shampoo

Or

GOLD class shampoo + Ultimate Quick Wax after wash?

2 have different price tag too

UWW rm65
GOLD CLASS RM45

That rm20 make different?
*
I have heard people claimed that after using UWW car surfaces lack of slickness.

UWW containing wax whereas gold class is pure car shampoo.

For me I prefer gold class + quick wax compared to only UWW.
