Well, Sonax, is kinda like Meguiar's in USA, they are pretty big, depends on what you want. The wheel cleaner IS highly recommended.

whats the difference between sonax's wheel cleaner compared to meguiar's or even turtle wax?

whats the main attraction of sonax's wheel cleaner?

how much it cost again?

Shouldn't be a problem. Let me know. It'll be good for a visit, maybe grab some PF.

+1, i going to get one too <3 hahaha

btw bro KrisMas, where's this shop at ur mentioned location SS18 Subang Jaya?
Why don't you guys do a group buy, get the 5L one and share it out. What you guys should be looking for is the Sonax Xtreme Wheel Cleaner Full Effect and I think they retail here for around RM80 for the 500ml spray bottle. I can try to get info on the availability and price for the 5L container....later after lunch la ya..... tongue.gif

The SS18 is the main dealer/distributor. Much like Hypercoat in USJ1.

The plus side of this wheel cleaner (from my limited experience...errr...which is after using about half of the 5L container tongue.gif ) is that it's able to 'melt' those difficult to remove brake dust whilst not damaging the paintwork/coating, unlike some other caustic wheel cleaners (eg. Megs Wheel Brightener - more effective and works quicker) which requires more care and getting use to.

q1: I find the Sonax is more effective in removing stubborn brake dust as compared to TW or OTC Megs.
q2: very nice watching the brake dust turns purple and bleed down the wheels
q3: VERY EXPENSIVE!!!

heres the thing with cost, for TW, its cheap, however i tend to spray a lot as it wasn't that effective.
the good thing about it is that it is rather... gentle to the wheels. so far never had damage on tires/wheels etc despite over spraying a ton.

however if sonax is very effective, and overspraying may cause damage? (abbrasive, solvent?) you could probably use very little and get the same/better results.

TW is between rm23-30 for a spray bottle of 768ml, much cheaper, but a bottle can only last maybe... 20-40 wheels or so...

that said, brake dust isn't that huge of a concern now since i'm on expensive brake pads that produce absolutely minimum dust no matter how hard i brake (160-170+ down to a full stop LOL)

Sonax Malaysia has an fb up under that name. Might be a better idea if you ask them there. I see they have some of their products in Caltex Penang....but didn't mention which Caltex and what products....hehehe....

aren't you that sifu? lol

actually i dont mind to keep it to just a casual machine hands on session, some TT, chat etc
no need to go full serious and detailing clinic and whatnot.

but of course im fine with either way, i'll go with the majority/sifu krismas wishes smile.gif
