you may be wearing a RM500 helmet. But if you dun wear it correctly, it's useless.
seen some cyclist don't even bother to adjust and secure the helmet properly onto their head. Asked them why? Not comfortable la, that's why i loosen the strap. some worse, they have helmets, but strap it onto their backpacks and not wearing it, very gaya they think. |

QUOTE(kenet13 @ May 27 2013, 06:57 PM) @tvcat - my budget is around 1.5k - 2k for the whole bike. i will just use the bike to roam around KL since there are no nearby trails here at my place. Roaming around KL? Then no need to get a mountain bike. You may want to look at other options.1.5K - 2K can get you a pretty good foldie. |

QUOTE(anlimdy22 @ Aug 4 2013, 09:18 PM) for your information, Rover track cyclist already banned! Saturday I went there got 1 uncle point the signboard to us mention now cyclist not allow.the sign just beside the toilet. Serious??!! must be those damn ******* who speed on this track. Shit.I was there last weekend, didn't notice that signboard. I tell you, some idiot mountain bikers take this trail to "show off" by riding at high speed. |

QUOTE(anlimdy22 @ Aug 5 2013, 09:47 AM) I suspect those uncle or auntie make noise to the FRIM management, so they decide put the cyclist no entry sign. the tarmac road near the lake garden also not allow to passby. yeah. Must be the complains FRIM received from the joggers on rovercan't blame them though if you see how some bastards ride on this trail. many times I have to tell off some of these buggers to slow down. Now i don't have a nice trail to see chicks. |

QUOTE(eohl79 @ Aug 5 2013, 10:38 AM) Then the other side on way to steroid hill, no joggers allowed right? We should point finger on signboard in case we see any joggers Seen many times these buggers just zoom past the joggers. Dangerous. On rover, I will always go slow...especially when there are kids. |

QUOTE(anlimdy22 @ Aug 5 2013, 10:49 AM) banned us cycling up Rover track is not a good solution. anybody represent us talk to the FRIM management like do a cycle Lane for us since the track is so wide..haha! this trail good for cuci mata..LOL Yah. They should've at least come up with a solution instead of just stopping us using this trail. So those using Dream Trail...how? Need to u-turn when reaching the end of the trail ? Yah yah.....rover is a trail i use to cuci mata. especially at the water fall. |

QUOTE(vexus @ Oct 20 2013, 09:54 PM) i saw bbs got people selling range from 450 to 650 450 to 650? What brand?what is the weight range for light weight allu mtb frame? 1.6kg is it consider light weight? or anything below 1.4kg is light weight? like someone mentioned here, a lot of replicas these days. Some sellers in BBS are OK, they do mention that their items are replicas. Some don't. So be careful. For a branded frame to cost RM450....most likely it is a replica. |

QUOTE(Broadica @ Oct 22 2013, 05:20 PM) there is alot of brands, allen, bnb, saris, thule and etc. just visit any lbs and see if the price is right for you what do you think of those bike racks on the roof using suctions?they all basically works the same, the rack foot just rest behind the car boot/door and the bike hang onto it; bike sometimes swing. so u need to secure it properly. some modern bike frame especially full suspension bike with non conventional frame might not work so well. i personally use roof rack. most secure and stable imo. just need to make sure you dont bang your bike over tols or your house car porch safe? |
