Hmmm... thanks for advice.... Cause I go for night ride... so need to prepare those things lo.... the bag under saddle is for tube and multi tools.... The bag in top tube is for my light's battery, small torch light and my keys will be in there too....
Hmmmm.... can't fix it to side of the bottle cage, tried before, my leg's will hit that pump so it need to be top or bottom of the frame tube. Also did tried to fix under the top tube but the cables will rub the pump.... hmmmm.....
Thinking of getting a camel water bottle and fix it to where the water bottle cage is....
the bike should be light as possible so it is responsive to the max, all pumps, water bottles and tubes should go in a riding pack so they do not get in the way. only essentials should be on the frame, good and bright lights (a must), cyclocomp (optional, mud? what mud?), mudguards (optional), bottle cage (no need, do you really want to drink from a bottle that got hit by rat shit?) just my 2 sen. since it is a night your fluid need will be a lot less than a hot day ride, one bottle in the bag should be enough.

Of course... These all play big in your bike setup...
Anyway...
agree! headtude angle is also important for responsiveness of the bike. lighter bike easier to ride, ma. nobody ever goes in the LBS and ask for the heaviest bike even DH riders here want titanium balls for bravery not Depleted uranium.
guys im thinking of getting Maxxis detonator for my MTB what size to go for ? was told there is 1.5 and 1.25 im using it for road only
1.5 is fast, 1.25 faster and dual colour rubber compund means you can match it to colour of your bike. if u r going road go fast, get the 1.25. i wanted them but i got IRC smoothies 1.25, fast and quite comfy.
If can take first lo.... anyway full sus will have power lost while padel on normal road... means need more effort than hard tail.... Snap let us see...
not if you ride a Giant with Maestro platform, smooth and efficient with no pedal bob and all the cushy benefits of suspension when on the trail. i am sure she would have mention the brand right? how old is the bike? if less than a year old than can consider and if it is the right size. and anyway, why should she determine how you spend your bonus? i am sure you have other plans too.
all fullsus will definitely have power lost from pedaling compare to hard tail.. like it or not. but minor power lost is not a problem when you factor in better traction from the rear suspension ability in tracking the ground better than a hard tail. so depend on terrain, you might be faster on fullsus despite a slight weight penalty.
and please dont talk and comparing fs and ht need more effort on the road!! if want to ride on the road.. don't get a mountain bike in the first place!! get a commuter bike...
not everyone like you jump jump and hump hump around...ok?
if people come in looking for taman ride or casual riding.. why not commuter bike.. cheaper and lighter too..
we cant always see things from your own personal perspective!! thats just self centered! advise gotta be sound and general... exceptions case are there but those are exception just like you... just like slam the seat advise you.. thats is inefficient in cycling.. proper seat heights works better for pedaling efficiency.
you are right, i dont even know how to bunny hop even and at traffic light i stand off the bike, coz my track stand kungfu not yet learn. malu oi!
