kalau boosted sepanjang masa, minyak petrol pun makan banyak. betul tak?
*
Tak akan boosted sepanjang masa. If there is not enough turbine speed, there will be no boost. For forced induction, there is a spooling time or otherwise lag, it needs to be 'powerband' to start boosting, just supercharger boost usually comes earlier. You can have smaller turbo for quick boost also, like TD04L that starts boosting about 2k RPM. Your ECU won't inject more fuel until the MAP sensor detects low vacuum/boost.

true, but some people said that supercharge boost is earlier like they were boosted all the time. sweat.gif

There was one guy who told me supercharger is not as drivable in town as we think. The boost will cause unsmooth start-stop traffic acceleration. I've never driven one so I cannot validate.

of course both also got pro and cons lo....

price wise, supercharge can do cheaper thn turbo but the tuning part is the most difficult for supercharger... as i know from one of my foreman...
boost timing depend on tuning and which supercharger u using, screw version and turbine version... both have differences~!

For Campro, turbo is cheaper than supercharger. Sprintex supercharger need 9k, turbo can be done as cheap as 5-6k, even cheaper if bought from those otai-otai who is upgrading, I've been offered a full setup 2k without management.

I have not found viable alternative to Sprintex supercharger for Campro. Even sprintex is designed for Campro CPS, I don't even know if Campro IAFM can be fitted with one. The last time I tried to get a quotation, it seems like it can be done.

For those who wants quick boost with good high end HP, do compound charging (twin-charge). A smaller turbo can be taken from Kancil turbo that can almost boost before you even press on the throttle

I'd actually take david's advice. Force inducing a NA engine is not for the faint hearted. My car is 11 months now, seeing at how the dashboard and doors develop new noise after careful usage, I think the engine wouldn't take much abuse either. I'll leave the engine as is for now.
