hi all!
I not sure anyone of here face this before.
I own a saga BLM manual, and current mileage is 96k++.
Recently i get burnt smell after long drive (20km++),
but i check radiator water and engine oil all normal.
Anyone know what is the problem ?
*
Maybe your clutch is slipping or your brakes are jammed hmm.gif

Hmm... i have ask a few people, they suspect is clutch or break too.
I wonder proton can do something to it or not ?
My car still under warranty ... within 100k ...
or i better get it done at other workshop ?
*
Jammed brakes is definitely under warranty. I got mine fixed a few months ago. But I think the clutch is a wear and tear item so it won't be under warranty.

aluminium is among the most brittle metal in the metal family. Hence it is light. Prolong exposure to high current will accelerate its wear and tear.

If that is the case then ok. Btw, one question regarding throttle response. I tried many times on my Gaga, press pedal and spontaneously release, I hear the engine start roaring first then the rpm shoots up. Sequencewise, pedal>engine roar>rpm meter.

does rpm meter also lag?
*
Sometimes I tap quickly on throttle, hear enjin roar but tacho needle tarak gerak ph34r.gif

testing whether my fuel indicator does function or not. now at last bar at 310km for this tank and the indicator still does not lit up.

afraid that the indicator were to fail, and engine could suddenly stall during driving, which translates to no power steering icon_question.gif
*
I estimate, from last bar -> blinking -> enjin stall = at least 80-100 km of driving. Believe me, I've done at least 50 km with the warning light on before icon_idea.gif

For CVT user, I just did the major service for 60K, total cost RM980.  moneyflies.gif
They need to open the plastic fender underneath your CVT transmission box, follow by dip out all the CVT oil, after that open the CVT oil filter to ensure all the CVT oil is removed. Replace the CVT oil filter (RM4xx) + refill new CVT oil (RM4xx). Then need to turn on engine, let it running is idling mode for half hour to ensure NO leakage of CVT oil from the gasket. Finally fill in the balance CVT oil and done.  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
What about oil change and other stuff? hmm.gif

My 60k serbis kambing soon...

bro, does the rubber seal in front of the air intake make any affect to the car? blush.gif

coz i went SC a few times, ppl thr doesnt add that up for me.. i wonder why..
*
I didn't feel any difference after mine was added. The technician just said it's to prevent water from going into the intake, that's all.
