okay this is seriously something new. never heard anyone before with Nokia warranty for nexus 4. usually it's from Google US, LG Malaysia or ipmart. maybe there are others that I'm not aware of.

I've sort of rewritten the manual rooting guide as the XDA one might be confusing for newcomers. I'm not sure if it's detailed enough and yet simple to understand or not. Formatting (especially indentations) is one of the issues, gotta fix it next time when I have time

2. Is there any other music player that show your music folder? Nexus 4 music player doesn't show music folder. Im used to the samsung music player which u wan view your music folder.

Yup reboot my phone problem still exists, nvm i think i will try different modem, maybe i will go over my frens house and test the connection.

For the heat issue, i dont feel comfortable with the heat, its like really hot if compare to other android phones i used previously, i can feel it specially near nexus wording area at the back of the phone, what about casing? i haven try out with casing, guess the heat wont blown off the cpu, lol.

I wonder if you still feel warm by putting on casing or the heat will get worst cause it will be trapped inside case cover.

After experiment I found out that all those apps like touch control and proximity sensor drain batter like no tomorrow.  Looks like I'll be using back power button from now. Hopefully it doesn't wear out and can last

Accurate screen should not have compromised with colour saturation. iPhone and iPad, similar IPS screen technology, capable of natural colour representation yet looks great.

I dont want ROOT. Currently , im using Smart Screen On but i feel still okay only. Any other apps allows us to double tap on screen to wake up? Smart Screen On require sensor and wave.

thanks. actually drain battery i dun mind, even if 3% is acceptable, but anything that is above 5% is consider too much to me for 1 night (7-8hours) 

I am having a problem here. which is when i go in an area where there are no service or bad signal, u cant get a H in that area. after u moving away from the area, the mobile data connection just wont connect back automatically. I am using maxis.
Anyone faced the same problem also?

The thing is, im not entirely sure if I should go for this? From multiple online reviews, two things that plagued Nexus 4 is, the battery life and the "not so impressive" camera. What do you guys feel about this two issue?
I am quite a heavy user by default. Fully charged at 6am in the morning, i'd browse, check mails.. apps, games, a bit.. arrived in office, more browsing, rss reading.. and Usually old S2, would be left with 40 or 50% by after lunch.

today i went to Digi center inquiring about the nexus 4

they say i must sign plan to get the nexus 4 because they don't really sell the phone

i wonder if i can terminate the plan after 3 month and she told me will face penalty BASED on how many month left of the contract

which plan should i get if i want to get the phone without any hassle

anyone want to explain on these?

Just wondering if we use proximity sensor to wake up our beloved device and if we are not using flip case,when we put our device in pocket will the device wake up frequently due to this proximity sensor.

Any idea?

Dear all, I would like to complain about my LG Nexus 4. I got a unit from DiGi Center in Penang and was told that if there was anything wrong with the phone I could seek DiGi to help fix it.

1 Week after having the phone, I voice call became a problem. Callers or people I call would not be able to hear through the microphone. I assumed that it was an Android issue and attempted to fix it by reformatting but to no use. Did not think much of it tho, as Viber calls do work.

3 Weeks later, the phone stop detecting my sim card. At this time I just could not take it anymore and called DiGi of where I could return the phone. Over the phone they told me to visit one of their DiGi centers in Bukit Mertajam main land and after driving there... I was told that I should take it to LG instead. I then took the phone to LG Penang island as requested by DiGi folks after giving me a wild ride.

At the LG Center... firstly the person in charge did not have any experience with the Nexus 4. He stared at the phone wondering where was the iMei number before I had to tell him where it was. He also did not have a Sim Key opener to open the phone's sim card. I had to borrow mine to him.

He told me he would get back to me on Friday (3 weeks ago) or the following week. A week after that Friday I gave him a call as there was no news only to be told that he will look into it again and when he returned call... he told me that there was water damage!

It was impossible for the phone to have water damage as I've never brought the phone close to any water and at most the only water I had was the sweat on my face while using the phone! If that's enough to trigger the water damage, this phone must be faulty. But! He insisted that I must have dropped the phone in water at parties or at the toilet! NO!

Hearing all that just pissed me off even more, and I blatantly just asked if he can fixed it and he answered with an unconvincing "I'll try"

6 weeks in of having the Nexus 4 (or really...3 weeks phone with me and 3 weeks with LG) the phone is still not repaired.

I once more called them again today! And they told me that the PCB board is broken and would require RM800 to fix! What the hell?! After 3 weeks and I constantly calling to follow up?

Bare in the mind, the phone is not even 1 month old when it went back to LG! and now it's getting close to 2 months old!

When I requested to see my phone today, the person in charge told me that I have to wait till tomorrow.

Honestly, the 1 week of having no problems with the phone was awesome... but LG really screwed up my experience.
