Stock vs stock, I feel it's heaven and earth. Nexus 4 looks washed out and viewing angle is more limited.Google Nexus 4 Official Thread V7, truly the Nexus beast; at least for now.

Accurate screen should not have compromised with colour saturation. iPhone and iPad, similar IPS screen technology, capable of natural colour representation yet looks great.
Still, the Nexus appeals. |

QUOTE(GreenSamurai @ Mar 6 2013, 05:06 PM) For major versions, there will usually be a new Nexus device. Like Galaxy Nexus was introduced for Android 4.0. However legacy devices will continue to get updates for at least 1-2 iterations. Nexus S got updates till 4.1 before it got killed off.Nexus 4 is already 5 months since release. Given the IO at May, that would make it 7 month old, ready for a successor soon enough. |

QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Mar 8 2013, 01:18 PM) Anyone know faster way to switch 2G only to 3G Only instead of *#*#4636#*#* menu? (not 3G preferred, I want 3G only which cannot do in stock settings). Is there a reason why PA removed the toggle?PA ROM removed the 2G/3G toggle in notification bar pulldown, I cannot find easier way... |

Bumper is now available in Play Store. I think I'm going to order my Nexus 4 with bumper again. Just cross finger there's no issue with the device, I am not going to pay an excess of hundreds to LG Malaysia distributor.

I haven't calculate precise amount yet, at least 12xx, maximum 13xx. If something goes wrong, it won't be cheaper than AP set price of RM1399. So far I'm only thinking of getting 2 units, one for myself and another for a friend quite close. Due to lack of experience in importing device, I dare not risk other people's money. Some people are more particular about their device too, these come with virtually no warranty. If there's a defect, I'll just throw it aside.

QUOTE(vincentxiang @ Mar 14 2013, 09:32 PM) observed from my print screen, i just notice default preferred network type is WCDMA but as i knw that local telco are gsm, should i change it or just remain unchange. any advice? We are using GSM and WCDMA. The setting is correct. If you change to GSM, it will only be in 2G mode. Feel free to change, this setting will be reset after you restart the device. This post has been edited by mengsuan: Mar 14 2013, 10:17 PM |

QUOTE(zennasyndroxx @ Mar 18 2013, 02:19 PM) I was using Galaxy Nexus. I thought I can be contented for years. In just few months, I felt like changing phone again. Even Nexus 4 that looks and feels the same can be tempting. |

QUOTE(zennasyndroxx @ Mar 18 2013, 02:49 PM) but well IMO nexus itself is already not bad. some more got OTG. Sexy glass back. I like flat/square phones.i jumped from nexus s so different story but what triggered your mind to get nexus 4? QUOTE(nsg86 @ Mar 18 2013, 03:17 PM) As long as there is interest in phones and technology, the quest won't stop. There's no best phone that can keep you contented. |

QUOTE(IMfae_ @ Mar 18 2013, 03:39 PM) +1 I know myself well, so I'll never purchase an accessory >10% of the phone's value. Screen protector that costs RM50 or whatsoever, no thanks.I had this syndrome of never content with just a phone. Last time I thought my Pink Galaxy Note will be the last smartphone for maybe about a year or 2 before nexus 4. i even bought almost all of the original accessories from casing to vehicle dock kit, but i was totally wrong. lesson learnt live simply cause I might change to another phone in the next future I don't even want to think of which phones I had. |

QUOTE(pu27 @ Mar 19 2013, 07:21 PM) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2151159 Thread says you need to supply power to the USB device. The OTG cable won't be a standard one.Hi, it seems like the USB OTG can finally work, has anyone tested it here? What do we need? A standard female to micro male y cable? |
