QUOTE(Calex @ Mar 6 2013, 01:29 PM) Flashed with google stock factory image, which means I wiped everything, flashed stock radio, stock bootloader, stock recovery, and everything's wiped including /sdcard. Just boot back to fastboot select recovery n wipe data n cache Phone will get stuck somewhere along the nexus bootscreen for 1-3 secs, then it'll reboot again, and again, and again. I locked the bootloader now, gonna take it to LG later. Phone should boot up fine This post has been edited by benny888: Mar 6 2013, 01:32 PM |

QUOTE(teckyang97 @ Mar 7 2013, 12:41 PM) Oh,i just noticed that,i wanted to start a bulk, but will kena tax?cause i don't know where to go or how to pay tax lol The courier company will inform you where your package is held up at customs. You just need to go over there and pay the duties/taxes to clear out your package. Or you can pay the courier company a service fee ( can range from at least RM 50 to RM 100+ or over ) , depending on the courier companyTo avoid such a hassle just buy -1-2 pieces for yourself and normally you will not be taxed This post has been edited by benny888: Mar 7 2013, 01:00 PM |

QUOTE(polarzbearz @ Mar 10 2013, 12:50 AM) A few doubts tho, as Actually this depends more on force of impact n material of the ground surface.Seeing several videos I do not even dare to try dropping it So far I did drop tests only on 2 phones after viewing those demo videos - HTC one X n Xperia Z. Both phones survive dropping from waist height to terazzoo floor |

Just be happy with your phone whatever it is
What is the point glamourising it? Worse don't condemn n respect others who choose otherwise They have their reasons n they could even be smarter n more successful than many of you here This post has been edited by benny888: Mar 11 2013, 05:12 PM |

QUOTE(ezinger @ Mar 11 2013, 05:13 PM) Not skewed logicSome users talk as if they are the smartest users here just because they use nexus n others don't If they are so smart they should be quite successful too I know of many friends who don't use nexus but Samsung/HTC /Huawei n every successful in their careers earning close to a million ringgit a year. They buy phones that suit them not because of pure android n fast updates |

QUOTE(ihsansyairazyy @ Mar 12 2013, 12:38 AM) I'm so disappointed with my battery life. Hmmm. Surfing for 2 hours : battery 100% ----> 40% Your 3g signals must be weak to incur such a high battery usage*mobile data on. *wifi off. *gps off. *nfc off. *brightness the lowest. Frustrated. On 3g typical usage around 20%/hour on most phones having 2k+ mAh battery Use speedtest app n gauge what download speeds you are getting n do a comparison at various spots to have a better assessment Getting 4 hours SOT on this phone purely on 3g should not be a problem. With WiFi at least 5 hours n some user even reported 6 hours. I am on 3g 80% of the time as places I go to rarely has WiFi hotspots |

It is inevitable sometimes we will get a lemon in our purchase. It depends on luck.
My N7 motherboard got fried after only a week using it and luckily it was under warranty ( even with rooted n flash with CWM recovery). The tablet keep booting to CWM recovery mode and just cannot restart and fail to boot to even fastbootmode. The motherboard was replace FOC but during replacement the tech screw up and offer me a new unit for replacement. At least ASUS offer international warranty and my set I purchased directly from Google USA My second lemon purchase was HTC Touch Pro and motherboard replaced FOC due to faulty GPS after a month. It is not good that the LG Penang service center is poor in handling repairs and it does gives a bad impression to Nexus buyers |
